Writing the consequences of the Kiro and Kally hookup has eating up must of my time thus far… well, that and the Overwatch holiday update. I unboxed a pile of old loot boxes and fifty of the new ones besides, then burped out a youtube video of it, if you’re interested.
I got some of the coding for those scenes in tonight. Tomorrow the goal is to clean them up and actually get some more fun written.

So here’s a question I’ve been meaning to ask for a while, what’s the deal with the character art in the game? Specifically, what’s with the cropping of the character art in the game?
I’ve noticed from the now defunct GitHub and from the few streams I’ve peaked in on that most of the artists seem to draw the characters from the knees up yet in game you’re lucky if you can see anything below the knees. Am I missing a button or something that will let me see the full image?
It may just be my 3D background but I’m a little confused as to why stuff’s getting made that the player can never see.

I double checked to make sure I’m not losing my mind (I did know about the art selection screen) and nope, it’s still there. For instance, fly over to Myrellion and have a gander at Renvra. Now when you go for the sex scene you’ll notice that you can see her cock poking out from the bottom of the frame. In the art selection screen you can see more, but only a bit more. Now, have a look at the full image that was posted in the blog https://www.fenoxo.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/renvra_nude.png
There’s almost a full third more of a picture in there, and from memory most of the artwork is like that in game.
Those are called busts. A bust is a sculpture of a person’s head, shoulders, and chest. TiTS busts go down to the knees to show you the genitals of the characters because it is a huge factor in the game. That’s the best way I can explain it.

I agree, but that’s my point because the bust I linked above isn’t actually in the game, only a cropped version of it is. Which confuses me since there’s essentially artwork that’s getting tossed out. Kally might be a better example. I’m sure I saw Shou doing a whole bunch of different states for her bust but you can’t see any of it in the game because it’s below her navel.(Unless there’s an option to display the full image somewhere that I’m missing.)
And when one of the devs sees this, I swear I’m not trying to pick a fight. I’m just genuinely curious about the design/workload decision here.
They’re positioned as they are to give a reasonable view of the character. Part of the plan (and something we’ve tested on a small scale) is to eventually produce a much, much larger build that includes a bunch of additional art and higher res versions of the busts, and let you view them full-screen. I actually might try and make the test version available or something to demonstrate what we’re planning on doing.
We’re not doing it yet because it poses some hilarious issues with both the Flash compiler, to say nothing of the final output size. I have a plan to science things and make it viable, but it’s on the priority list below “smash through the content backlog”, “actually finish writing some stuff” and “implement spess combat”.

Expanded storage space will come with the spaceship expansion, but that won’t be released for quite some time, unfortunately.
I’ve always wondered this fen; How do you stay focused? What do you do to keep yourself from following distractions? As someone who wants to write, and is being plagued by the urge to “do something else” I’d just love to learn your technique.
So, quick question; when will Uveto’s story be finished enough in order to be able to get the Frost Wyrm/Dragon TF? Would very much love to be able to get it soon.

um, why is the EMP Grenade set as a “consumable” in the storage area? Shouldnt it be in weapons? I usually take consumable to mean transformatives. maybe you guys need to make an upgrade, when you do ship stuff, that separates the TFs with the battle items.
Consumable as in when you use it it depletes by 1 until there are 0 and then at which point you can’t use more. Its more of an rpg term for things that have a limited quantity of uses.
