0.7.86 Changes:
- A point and level based method of assigning values to weapons has been determined and applied to most weaponry. Most weapons have received buffs as a result.
- Based on the type of weapon – rifle, handgun, SMG, autorifle, LMG/Chaingun, etc, I’ve attempted to mold the stats for different archetypes. Pistols are crit monsters, rifles are accurate, chainguns are high damage and high accuracy but cannot crit.
- Some weapons have received nerfs – lust weapons primarily. Lust defense has also been slightly nerfed, but likely not enough to please most people. This one might get reworked a bit down the line.
- Melee weapons are mostly unchanged. I’ll be working on them in my few free moments tomorrow night and perhaps slipping you guys another patch to play with.
- Uveto now has a basic weather system.
- Savicite drops have been added to Uveto. Careful! When carrying Savicite, lust generates faster over time.

Nah it wasn’t. But I wonder if the Beatrice quest line is completeable now?
I was just coming to ask the same question. It’s likely not though. But I’d assume it’s being added in preparation for said quest line.
That’s weird, they’re supposed to. I looked at the public Github code, it certainly looks like the male Korgonnes can drop it.
Someone who’s a backer, please test this for us.
As a backer I can confirm that a very VERY rare (Like 1/25 battles) will drop Savicite in the public patch (when last I was able to play due to work). Additionally I only experienced it when the Male Korgonne requested a draw requested a draw. Seemingly making this an un-farmable drop, as you must pay close attention to the battle and “Wait” at the appropriate time. There seem to be 3 different possibilities, He offers you a can of fish (PC declines and gets a normal drop afterwards), He offers you a Savicite crystal, (Which you should accept), Or he walks up, hits you in the head, and throws a large landmine on you, dealing some damage.
Also I think a special Savicite fueled coital interaction with Beatrice should be wrote in. I mean while you’ve got a rare lust crystal right there might as well get some extra use out of it.
I got one fairly quickly after just defeating the Korgonne. It just appeared as an object to pick up on the floor.

hey no rush but do you think the story will progress within the year? from what I can tell the last probe was myrellion back in 2015(?)
I’m sure it will progress eventually but I think Fen has been prioritizing submissions and other things that are gameplay related, and things that have been left out while the story was being progressed. i.e, the ships, the collar system etc etc. I don’t know that for sure but it’s just what I’d guess. I’d also assume we’d be seeing the Dane Xpac sometime after the story has moved forward.

Not necessarily, however the combat system would probably have to be changed, and balanced because having four arms would be a bit too advantageous I think.
But aside that, when some people saw Dane I’m sure they wondered the same thing. Or even Doctor Lash, or Doctor Lessau. It’s more of a “I want to build my dream alien hybrid”. Regarding the sex scenes though, they dont HAVE to be used in them, but if it were to happen I’m sure FenCo could write some four-arm centric sex scenes if they felt like it, or people like myself would commission such things. It’d merely be an option in the style of extra sex options you get with Tauric bodies while being restricted to certain others.
TL;DR Simply asking to satiate my curiousity, and exploring the possibilities were it to actually happen.

You’d have to rewrite every sex scene for tauric bodies and we have those. Mainly because most scenes don’t support them.

What’s the weather system like? Every few hours there is a shift from “freeze your balls off cold” to “The very gas which we breath has turned solid”?
This is the part that has me most interested of the backer patch, since I already rather not even think of carrying even a single more weapon due to my utter lack of holding slots from unique weapon overflow.
Uveto will always be cold, especially out in the open, but the weather system adds in a randomly cycling “cloudy” condition. When it is cloudy, there is a higher chance to experience blizzards and lightning strikes as well as increase chances of slipping on ice.

Will there be more character levels?
If no, could you remove the “You’ve already reached the current maximum level. It will be raised in future builds.” message on your log after you sleep.
The ultimate plan is to have twenty levels, but that’s years off even now.
Levels 9 and 10 were added recently, so I doubt anymore will be added anytime soon. Perhaps after the next planet.
It would be nice even if you could give the option to turn the notification off.

When I saw Weather in the title of the post I was thinking the post had something to do with reall world weather.
Weapon type now change the basic stat setup of weapons… Does that mean that diferent classes will have diferent weapon focuses (Eg gun smugglers favor pistols, gun merc favors LMGs/Miniguns)?
Either way, existing perks may need a review becouse buffs like “+10% crit chance” means nothing for someone who uses guns that cant crit.
