0.7.215 Changelog:
- Fixed some big bugs in the appearance screen that cause significant amounts of genital descriptions to go MIA.
- New bust: Naleen Hermaprhrodite
- New scenes: Hyper tit-fuck for the female security operative and tail-milking for the male. Both written by yours truly!
- New encounter in the mines: Rodenian Mechanic. You can get an RFID badge from her that will prevent the mining robots from attacking you.
- Laid out an absolute mountain of new rooms on the forge deck. A few of them have descriptions. Most of them don’t. Most also don’t have encounters enabled, yet.
- Jacques00 made some PC bust placeholders that could potentially be overridden by custom bust images.
- Willow has been removed from the game for now due to some widely reported quality issues.
- Paige can now help you get the password for Zheng Shi.
- You can now get a Fedora.
- A bunch of bug fixes and tweaks.

I’m somewhat suprised to see willow removed, but I can’t say that her stuff didn’t irk me, especially the parts where Steele basically tries to tease(?) her about getting beaten by her father with a belt. definitely rubbed me the wrong way, both in a “my Steele would never act like this” way and also a “this is pretty generally fucked up” way.

You can’t dom Akane though, and outside of her first intro (I think?) she’s pretty far from being an asshole. What she does is extreme, but she’s going out of her way to be affectionate and respectful during and after the acts.

That’s pretty subjective. Akane’s scenes may not have been to your taste, but they’re well written for what they are and generally don’t railroad your character into doing or acting in anyway that they already wouldn’t, unlike Willow.

Removing a character is a little unprecedented, fen could you please elaborate on the quality issues with Willow?
her writer was supposed to fix several glaring issues, prominently was their guiding of the PC into some seriously uncomfortable sadism.

Feels weird to see Willow removed but not Doctor Badger, who’s a far worse, more problematic character than Willow in pretty much every aspect.
Dr. badger was problematic from a player standpoint but was very well written herself, people just didnt like her.

Where were the issues with Willow brought up? The only results on the forum are the submission thread with was 100% praise, and Upcastdrake’s posts about deciding to stop trying to code her. months ago. This blog post has more comments about Willow than the actual updates that added her.

so, since willpower is basically the only thing in this game that cannot be trained (physique and reflexes have the gym, int has semith and syri, aim had…something? was it the challenge against syri? but willpower is important and here isnt a clear way to level it besides putting points into it, since most standard builds dont incorporate anything related to it it feels like they can be better spent on int. anyway, would it be possible to add a slow gain to wilpower every time your Steele reins in their impulses, like a 0.01 increase every time you turn an enemy down for smex (0.02 if lust is at 75% or higher). i figure it would tie in well since your training yourself on impulse control. sorry to bother if its too much of a hassle or a bad idea =P

I usually just put points into will when I level until it hits max then spam the gym for physique reflexes and aim, and usually Syri for int. There’s also that android who wanders the jungles of Mhen’ga, but I hate using him since you get attacked half the fucking time, and makes any significant gains take even longer.

Is there a way to change the color of scales?
As far I can recall, there are some items/events that will change Steele’s scale color as a side effect, but there isn’t an item/event that explicitly lets Steele choose a different scale color at the moment.
Try removing your scales, then changing eye color. Then get scales back through some other item.

Willow was removed because she was railroading the character into being an asshole, and there was a rather uncomfortable scene dealing with the player making fun of her getting beat with a belt as a child.
The person who made this had some great potential, but then it became basically a fanficy type of thing for them, and they did a lot of things that the google docs on how to create characters said NOT to do.

Oh by the way willow’s quality issues might have to do with the fact that though it says you can have her wear clothes, yet there are no scenes where she actually wears them just the one that says she puts on the clothes.

Is anyone else excited about player busts becoming a thing soon? Or is that just me? Been something I’ve been kinda interested in since come back across Corruption of Champions a few years ago, and the fact that CoC2 did it just makes me think it’s feasible even more.
I didn’t actually know that player busts were going to be a thing but it makes sense! I’m excited about it now. 😀
If you make the coding for busts while doing appearance options, it makes it easier to add new bust image parts as you code in each new option.
Actually, the player character placeholder busts aren’t anything definitive or artistic at the moment as they are just icon images for the time being. This may change in the future however. The main reason for adding them in is to allow the player to replace the images with their own if they so choose, via the custom bust feature. Hopefully this isn’t disappointing, but I don’t want to get your hopes up if you are expecting more than what has already been implemented.
I wasn’t expecting much, I was just explaining that if you were doing player bust sprites, it would be best to start early, so you don’t have to do 50 at time or etc. later.

Hey since we can see character descriptions in third person (for monster descriptions) is there some way to get general text to be in third person? Like we’re reading Steel’s story instead of playing it. (For example, replacing pronouns like You/Your with She/Her’s and for a female Steele such)
Because honestly the chances of an NPC being added that I like is slim, but I can just make Steele into that NPC.
if they did that i feel like the game would be less fun to play, because when it says “you” in the game, it becomes so much easier for you to feel like your actually doing those things in game. As in, the game is not really about another person, but you yourself in a sense.
That would takes many years of coding to do, or a year or so of many sleepless nights, in order to do since TiTS now has so many scenes, items, appearances etc., and so will NEVER EVER be implemented for the same reasons as character sprites, and other things that drastically change the coding of the game, as stated multiple times by Fen.
