A brief break from the normal Mayternity breedings to bring you some optimizations and a much-requested new feature. A LOT of people have mentioned that it’s a little hard to follow the flow of combat, so there’s now a mode you can turn on from the options menu that removes all the flavortext and concisely prints out exactly who used what on who, and what the results were.
It’s okay if you like that better, we only spent a lot of time writing all that flavor text Q_Q;

- The tutorial got a rework to make it less obnoxious and RNG-heavy. Also Cait can succ ur dicc if you drink a blue potion you find.
- Also combat status effects are colored for ease-of-identification.

I’ll definitely stick with the combat flavour text. It adds way too much to my experience.
The colored highlights are HIGHLY appreciated though. I’d suggest to go even further and use a humble, little color system to give the player a basic idea of what’s happening at a glance.
red=lost hp
green=gained hp
purple=lost resolve
blue=gained resolve
bright gray=no numeric change
Use the color on both the affected character name and the numeric change.
The issue with something like this is that the current power text is more or less all hand-done. This means that sweeping changes like this would require ALL powers to be manually changed to work with it, which with 242 powers in the game would take an insane amount of time.
The new summarized power system doesn’t interact with the powers themselves at all, it just calculates what changed from before the power was used and after, which is why if you pay attention it doesn’t have any idea what crit or not! There’s no way to know from the outside what was a crit or not, only the effect (taking more damage).
I think Kohaku and Jen are my two favorite girls in this game, so I’m pretty happy about this haha.
Personally, I like the flavour text. It’s the same as with location descriptions – it seems completely unneeded at the first glance, but without it game loses a bit of… uh… let’s call it “storytelling” atmosphere.

Let me make note of the fact that neither the Ruined Shrine where you pick up Kiyoko’s Amulet nor any of her introductary scenes change when you are a Kitsune.
It’s something on my to-do list, but low priority.
What about freeing Kiyoko as a kitsune ? I wanted to make a pleasent surprise for my fox-wife, but her dialogue hadn’t changed in any way 🙁

Pretty much nothing changes. You’re still a kitsune and everyone still treats you like royalty.
Not sure if you get the transformation to other races ability back either.
That’s not what the reincarnation function is for. Keros literally tells you that you can’t get your soul back once you’ve sold it to him.
i wonder how it impacts the story with kass wanting your soul? is there gonna be a special scene if your a kitsune?

okay I really can’t stand that no one is even talking about this, what the fuck is the point of a corruption mechanic if you can’t do anything with it. when will we be able to enslave npcs and turn our companions evil. when do we get to command the hornets to increase honey production and spread corruption to the town. when do we get to fight enemy’s that morally good and trying to stop us from becoming a larger threat than the main villain. i’ve been playing a corrupt character for so long and all I seem to be able to do s ruin Ryn’s asshole. can we please get more corrupt options for evil characters.

Hi, welcome to early development, where we’re mostly focused on pushing the plot forward and/or building up content that most players will actually engage with. Ironically, corruption content is pretty far down the pole in terms of what our supporters want. We’ll get to it when we get to it.

Seems pretty hypocritical considering that’s the same exact reason you gave for removing tail genitals. The game isn’t very far into development, so removing content already isn’t going to give writers a very compelling argument for writing anything aside from pure vanilla sex.

There was more than a year where tailcunt options were open and available to write for in the narrative.
Currently, the narrative does not allow for demons/demonic creatures/serious corruption because those are tied to the narrative of the Winter City. Hence, they’ve never been open to submissions.

No. Kitsune are not furries. You can play a fox-morph furry already, and have been able to for some time, but that’s not a kitsune.
There is a bug with the new streamlined combat text, when you enter a fight with a party of wolves in the Old Forest, there is no options to do anything. This happened on mobile, with the Auto combat mode on as well
I’m probably just stupid but I can’t seem to get the scene with Keros and selling my soul to trigger. Finished the metal mission and returned the relic to Kohaku, nothing happens when I walk up to the shrine though. Can someone please help me with this?

it wouldnt actually pop up for me until i talked to every npc in the kitsune den, try going through all the tlak options then going from the shrine map and the one below a couple times to get it to trigger 🙂
Hi. Is the scorpion tail going to be usable in combat like the two salamander ones? And are there any plans to ad more tf related skills, pasives and race bonus yet or is it for later?
There will be no major transformation-related skills, passives and race bonuses. We do not want people to feel that they need to have a certain transformation to be effective in combat.
The completely broken winged dragon naga from the original is not something we want to see again.
I get it why the some passives could be a problem but the skills are already very restrained compared to the original with the coldowns and only using 5 in combat, it also has a lot more learnable skills so people wouldn’t need to get the tf if they can get some thing similar or better by learning/stealing it, so people would use the tf skill more for rp reasons than any thing else.
It just feels very weird having horns, claws and wings but only being able to whip people with my Charmander like tail.
It should be already. If I did it right, it should even do some poison damage. Please bug report if it doesn’t.

Did something change with the breeder perk? It used to be when I did the intro my char would always end up pregnant from Kassyrah or imps, now I can’t it to happen at all 🙁

frost wood, Vari will sometimes offer to guide you to her village. From there choose the Male scene. Vari (and possible the other females) will be preggable in the future

Is there any requirement to get Brint’s date scene? Like, do I have to have a vagina, or progress to a certain part of the story? I’m playing a Dick-Girl character, and I haven’t beaten the orcs yet or got Kas’ 2nd encounter. And so far, no Date option yet.
Brint should be level 5, have sex with Brint multiple times, and it’s only available during the day. You’re probably missing the first bit if you’re behind on the story. I haven’t figured out a better gauge for “spends a lot of time with Brint”…

Walk towards the waystone in the shrine? If that doesn’t work, make sure you actually have the build installed I guess.
As someone who loves the thought of impregnating strong women….this is a wonderful update. I can only hope that there’s a way to impregnate Arona one day when she’s a full companion. That way the three orc women in Kervus can all be beautifully round together.
I think Savin has said no Arona pregnancy, unless she’s the one doing the impregnating.

is there another place to download public releases from like mega or mediafire? the downloads always cut out for me and i have to start them all over again–sometimes takes me days to do it because for whatever reason i can never retry or resume downloads once the connection fails. i live in a developing country; my internet is crazy slow and downloads from this site always take especially long–estimated 50 mins for this one, for example.
Can I request something? Can you make the heat episode with Brint in Mad Cow event count as his first time? I thought it will change something about him although you manage to remove the armor. It’s kinda strange when you complete the Mad Cow quest and then you talk to him again like that event never happened. Thanks~
What quest is this? How do you get it?
You need to be a white or black mage or companion with magical capability then go southern part of Harvest Valley. Find a cave near the cow village. Or just type “Mad Cow” in the wiki for more details.

Hashat thinks my elf trap isn’t an elf. I get if the sex is locked due to not having female anatomy, but…?
I think that might be a “No True Elf” problem. Another problem that was present for me (don’t know if it applies to you) is if there’s a just a bit too much non-elf appearance in your character, so that the Journal’s Appearance tab makes you out to be a chimera, instead of an elf. (Or perhaps your wyld mark needs to show?)
It’s more that Hashat just wasn’t written to accommodate male elves and it’s just an oversight.

Find the equipment requirements. Ex, some of the weapons need you to have some amount corruption and the other need you to have low corruption. Anything?

How likely is the harpy wingleader night scene to happen? I’ve been unable to get it, even with multiple harpy encounters and many days of sleeping at the tavern. Is there more to unlock it?
If you have a sleeping partner it won’t proc.
I’m currently not sleeping with any partners, either. I do have all recruited companions, but I don’t think that would affect it?
