Hey guys, sorry it’s been a bit, but this patch has a LOT of changes that we wanted to make sure we got right — so let’s get into it!

0.3.25 Patch Notes:

• New Companion: Azyrran, the Hive Knight! After purifying the hornet hive, you can speak with the queen and get her permission to court her daughter — or at least bring her with you on adventures. She’s got a full slate of sex scenes, she can give you hornet eggs, and she get get you fucked up on lust-venom. Oh, but maybe don’t chug too much at once or else you might end up addicted to it… (Written by SomeKindofWizard)
• The Resolve system has been reworked. Your total Resolve now scales with Presence and with level. Sexiness now acts like Attack Power for Tease attacks (so 40 Sexiness = 40% more Tease damage). Resolve-damage weapons such as Eternal Delusion have had their scaling interactions revamped; it should no longer be possible to dumpsterfuck Kasyrra with resolve weapons. Emphasis on “should.”
• Everyone’s favorite fun-sized fighter, Atugia, has had her powers reworked to make her a more effective tank. Her base damage is also somewhat higher.
• After doing Gweyr’s quest, you can talk to Sanders about what you learned. You can also talk to him about Liaden after they meet.
• Once a week when you enter either the Frost Hound or Etheryn’s throne room, a confident Ryn will come give you a surprise smooch! (Written by William)
• You can now drag the Centaur Behemoth back to the Wayfort to keep him around for yourself. (Written by Wsan)
• There’s a chance that, while exploring the Foothills, you’ll run into a centaur cavalier! It’s only an introduction for now; you’ll see more of this martial mare later on in the story! (Also by Wsan)
• If Berwyn is your dom and you have 95+ Libido, you can now trigger a bad end via his cock worship scene. (Written by B!)

What’s coming up next? Well, TheObserver organized a quite sprawling Winter Ball event for the Palace of Ice, with over 70,000 words and contributions from several different writers. I believe Leek’s nearly done coding it, too. If you want to take Princess Etheryn’s first ever dance, or show off Cait’s Jassiran bellydancing to a crowd of confused boreal elves, this is your chance!

0.3.24 Patch Notes:

• There’s a new accessibility feature allowing you to flip the game’s UI and text to dark mode, for white text on a dark background.

• Balak did many bugfixes.

Dark Mode will default to ON if your OS is set to any kind of dark theme. Please let us know if you use it and how it works for you! Feedback on accessibility features is very important! 😀

• New NPC in the Rift: Gweyr. Also, new side-story starring Gweyr. Be warned, it’s tonally very much darker and bloodier than most CoC2 content!
• New enemy in the Foothills, Old Forest, and Frostwood: Demon Girl! Found only after clearing Winter City.
• Sleepy Snake can wake up and find your camps in the Frostwood after you clear the Winter City.

  • Be Warned: This is pretty bloody stuff by the game’s normal standard. If you’re here for a quick fap you might want to come back to it, but it’s really well written. Definitely worth checking out if you don’t mind some dark fantasy adventure.

Hope you guys can forgive us for the late public patch, but we’ve got a brand new season-themed (but available year-round) dungeon for you!

0.3.20 Patch Notes:

• Fixed a major bug where in some cases after doing the new dungeon your party would be totally messed up. Some companions could be de-leveled, the party switcher would crash the game, and your companions weren’t recognized as being in your party even if they were. Any saves that already did the dungeon and were affected with the bug should also be fixed and work properly.
• Fixed a soft-lock if you tried to open the Vault in the Winter Palace.
• Cait’s stats have been nerfed slightly because they were slightly higher than intended (a relic of her being the first companion implemented).
• Fixed a minor bug where the wrong version of character art would show up in the party selector.

0.3.19 Patch Notes:

• New adventure: Specter of the Wyld! After clearing the Winter City and meeting the palace’s residents again, you’ll be approached on the palace’s steps to help deal with some spooky troubles! Big thanks to TheObserver, Wsan, and SomeKindofWizard for helping to churn out a near-40,000 word dungeon in just a couple weeks in time for Halloween. Hope you guys all enjoy it!

New Since Last Public Patch:

• You can fully purify or finally finish corrupting the Hornet Hive. Afterwards, wait a day to see the Queen again, and you can meet Liaden in town to help her out.
• You can take Brint (NOT BRIENNE) to a tower in the Glacial Rift to find a new gear set for the big man.

P.S. Please note that this month’s public patch will be later in the month as we prep the Halloween dungeon. It’s mostly finished now, save for some art and me going through and tying everything together. Oh, and scenes for the end boss too. Thanks to the whole team for setting aside their normal work to help churn out a whole lil’ dungeon in a couple of weeks.

I hope you’re ready for a Mootober because this patch is all Brint/enne all the way down. Meanwhile, the writers are all piling onto doing a ghost-elf themed dungeon for Halloween. Hopefully we’ll have it ready in time. Moira’s already started on the bust art and it is luuuuush~. But, it means the public patch this month will probably be somewhat delayed so we can get that out for everyone to enjoy. Hope that’s a fair trade!

• An ancient tower has surfaced in the northern reaches of the Glacial Rift. Take Brint (NOT BRIENNE) there to face a spooky challenge, and acquire a new set focused on tanking and ice magic!
  • Entropic Winds now leaves enemies Frigid instead of Staggered, and has lower cooldown.
  • Brienne will get another set later, we promise.
• Two new Brienne sex scenes, one new Brint sex scene. (By Wsan)

Bullifrawg in discord drew these lovely chibis of the Crash Landing characters, and I ADORE them.

There was a surprising lack of bug reports related to the party to tear through, which means despite the incredibly hacky back-end driving the event, it works like a charm. I went ahead and cleaned up most of the reports, added the reward items to the party, and set up the aforementioned cheat code.

I’ll be back in the Feruze hole for a bit after this. A public patch will likely come soon.

0.8.112 Changelog:

• New cheat code: ‘party’. This will force-start the Dhaal party event. Be aware that the event will place you on Dhaal at its end. Using this cheat on other planets is not advised.
• New CEO reward items added. These are level 12, very rare items, some of which have unique strengths. You’ll need to earn a CEO’s favor to get one though…
• Gena138 kindly fixed a bug with the Crash Landing that could cause it to seem discovered even on saves that hadn’t discovered it yet.
• Dhaal’s encounter proccing step-counter now resets on game load, like most others. No more instant enemy attacks when you start the game!
• Fixed some room description typos.
• You can no longer use TFs to make your Combat Tail somehow grow a biological genital. However that does make me think that adding an option to slot a bionahole into it would be cool, even if I might have to make it a one-way, destructive process because of how items are handled in the code…
• Fixed a Dhaal brothel crash that could occur for characters with three or more penises.
• The Classy Suit now counts as appropriate party wear.
• Some fixed courtesy of Jacques00 that address potential mismatches of hidden character stats that could occur.

  • n.b. due to a miscommunication on the writing team, if you go the Corrupt route for finishing the hive, we’ve temporarily disabled Queen Nyzerrah’s interactions until we repair some conflicts in the writing. Whoops! Should be fixed in the next couple patches…
• After purifying the hive, you can (briefly) meet Liaden outside the Frost Hound and finally walk her over to meet Brother Sanders like she came here to in the first place.

Since this is our first public patch post-Steam release, this is also our first update to the Steam version of the game — and marks one month since our release there. Whew, boy. We’ve passed 16,000 players there, which really blew us all away. So, thank you, everyone who bought CoC2 over there!

• After Winter City, you’ll find a new potential friend waiting for you at the Wayfort the next time you return. Bring Cait along for a bunch of extra content with her. Begins the content to rebuild the Wayfort into a place you can call your own.
