Thanks for the update and content, any word on when we can get an offline version? I personally can’t enjoy the in-browser versions of CoC2 TiTS etc. I need the privacy of the offline client and I am sure others would appreciate the option for the public build as well. thank you for consideration.
Kinda dissapointing…like, kinks and fetishs are fine, but this is why i play the original coc almost to exclusion. Because, while there Were kinks/fetishes, there was plenty of vanilla stuff for players too. Lately tho, seems like almost every encounter is a fetish focus. Like this, two big pregnancy releases back to back. I dont rwally see a reason to play coc2. Just would be much happier with a more balanced release
The previous build was Eryka, a paladin of Velun who has been cursed to have a dick by Kassyra, the statues, and hornet eggs. While there’s some validity to the eggs being preg heavy, the last REALLY big preg update was Kiyoko, and that was a while ago now. Back-to-back is really an exaggeration. Besides which, there’s a pretty decent variety of content in this patch too, what with whole companion added and the fountain.
The nursery was a necessary addition in party because it’s the framework for all future preg content, meaning it needed to get done now before other such content can be added, even if it isn’t preg heavy, so long as it includes preg content.
At work, sorry for dijointed text. I didnt mean just the preg ficus, but just fetishes in general. Theres TONS of smut on the internet.
Coc1 felt like it stood out, the chactera felt like they came alive. Like Zaz being a little shit. I actually felt slightly conflicted. Kill, or let go?
Coc2 seems to go from fetish to fetish to fetish without a whole lot of regular interactions or relations between.
I just…..i support coc2 because i Want it to be a success. I want it to be even better then tits or coc1. But the releases so far make it seem like smut is taking priority over everything else, which makes me kinda sad is all.
sadly the fetish community here is pretty vocal, personally, I loved the characterization, stories wold building and waifu material in COC1 and with a few of the TiTS characters. (its been getting better these past few years then the start) Fucking them is all fine and great but its soo much more impactful when its someone with personality goals ideals and hardships someone you get to know love and care about. fucking a “character” is so much more fulfilling than a blowup doll with a horse dick and orifices. Perhaps my criticism is overly harsh. but ever since the team stepped away from CoC1, providing characters with motivations and stories goals and history seem to take a secondary priority to fetish material, sex options and how fast you can get them in bed. The characters just feel…lacking and with a certain emptiness than the CoC 1 cast. or perhaps that’s just my rose tinted glasses. make no mistake I am having fun with coc2 and TiTS their well-made text games, very streamlined with a lot of features, but personally, I feel due to the frontloading of kinks and sex over worldbuilding and character building they are lesser games to there predecessors. more flash and easier to make and play but the heart and soul was ripped out and replaced with 300% more “bimbos and horsecocks”. but that’s just this one mans opinion.
but while we’re on the subject of fetishes. CoC2 could do with more straight up furrys rather than monster girls, just saying.
at the end of the day, different people have different interests to some the current cast will be fine or even enticing filled with great stories that appeal to them. and that’s fine. people have different priorities and deferent take on what constitutes fulfilling characterization. but from my personal interests and my personal life experiences. myself my close friends and many new people I have met along the way all seem to be in agreement that the new cast just can’t hold a candle to urta, amily, marble, and co. if the new cast is more your thing, and if you just enjoy coc tits and whatever for the fetish wank material or if you just don’t care that’s fine too don’t let me stop you. all this is just an old man feeling nostalgic for the days gone by and one that likes more story in his porn.
I hope you do realise, that you are comparing a game in it’s early-early alpha stage (COC2) to a completely finished game (COC1) with 5 or 6 years worth of development, right ? Or do you think that COC 1 instantly has ballanced content for all players from the start ?

mmm, think I made “The Observer” a little salty. look, man, I am not intentionally taking a shit on yours or anyone else’s works, also there is a lot more to the characters you listed off then your initial and intentional oversimplification. yes, sex content was high and sometimes necessary but you were rewarded by uncovering the deeper layers of the character and what led them to this point in their life and some of the stories such as urtas were rather sad and a little tragic. There was a lot more to urta then a simple bar floozy you fuck in a back ally. And that very initial action made a big albeit drunken moment in her life were someone finally for the first time in her life accepted her and found her attractive. Over time you find out she had a lot of issues to work threw and helped her on that journey eventually forming a strong bond with urta that goes well past knocking boots in a small apartment. was there a lot of sex in CoC1? yes but so was the touching personal interactions as well for many of them, it felt like there was a balance one that is lacking under the more directed control of CoC2 and TiTS.
I am not against the concept of sex far from it. My personal opinion though is that character interaction stories and personality have taken a bit of a backseat compared to how things used to be back in the day and I feel that’s is something that has been lost. it feels like a net negative to have the less complex characters that basically exist for the purposes of giving their player a quick wank be over-represented in CoC2 and TiTS compared to the characters that though had copious amounts of sex content should you choose to engage in it, also had story arcs and deeper motivations and flaws and a strong and often loving bond with the player formed over time and shared hardships. if this opinion offends you then I am sorry but the offense is not intended on my part and its taken not given. now I am trying to be respectful I would ask that you do the same.
This, lads, is what we call doubling down on a losing hand. Every single one of the precious waifus listed was little more than a sexual cumrag at the time of release. Disingenuously trying to equivocate Urta’s fertility quest and multiple xpacks, something that came years after her initial release, to characters who don’t even have their expacks written, deserves nothing but scorn. Each and every one of my major characters are more fully fleshed out than any of your favourite waifus at equal stages of development, and I’m not even speaking for Wsan or Bubblelord.

Don’t get me wrong here, you make a valid point, but a lot of the CoC2 fetish content seems to be veering oddly ( note: NOT incorrectly) compared to what Savin proposed. He said we were sticking close to the original concept of CoC with content focusing primarily on females and dickgirls. We now have three traps, a male, a waifu with very specific fetish tastes, and another who is borderline cuck content. If you don’t believe me on this statement, I will gladly dig up the post where he said it.
I guess what I’m getting at here, is it doesn’t really seem justified to demand someone take their nostalgia goggles off and then promptly call them a moron simply because you don’t personally agree with what they’re saying. I remember the release of the original game, and supported it all the way until it’s final conception. I am currently supporting CoC2 and it’s initial content is indeed quite a bit different from CoC, nostalgia goggles or no. I know this because I STILL have early versions sitting on my PC. Also, don’t get me wrong, I love the majority of what we’ve got so far even though about half the content so far isn’t to my personal tastes.
Will things change? Absolutely. For the better? Undoubtedly. As the game grows, so too shall content and things will balance out. But it’s reasonable to at least hear out what people say when they take the time to develop it with a level head, even when what they are saying isn’t necessarily what you want to hear.
Either way, here’s hoping for a game that develops into something everyone can enjoy.

You’re a bit stupid if you don’t realize that reworking CoC1 is a fundamentally bad idea.
Rewriting characters with mostly an entirely new cast of writers is one of the dumbest things ever. This is why most franchises receive disdain when they bring old characters in with new writing – it will inevitably change them.
CoC2 is happening because CoC1 was fundamentally flawed and hodge-podged together from lumber. If you want CoC2 to fail then you’re one of the closet-lurkers who hasn’t actually tried to enjoy the vastly improved QoL and overall writing improvements. Characters are better and the scenes are actually diverse.
CoC1 is dead – stop acting as if anyone is going to develop it. It wasn’t even supposed to be a full game as it was based off of a prototype IIRC. CoC2 is a fully-realized game that actually has employees paid on to work on it and a quality standard so that every bit of content should be strong.

Firstly – Patreon isn’t putting on deadlines. Everything written for CoC2 so far – TiTS included – is written at the pace of writers. You fundamentally not understanding that is why you’re not even half-assing this.
Secondly – you realize that the writers from CoC1 on average weren’t too happy with their writing back then and vastly improved themselves to try and distance it from it? This is why a lot of writers have moved on to writing books or leaving the game entirely behind – it’s not a “good thing”. It was the first groundbreaker that did what it was supposed to do. It set the stage for future and far better games. No one sits here with their head up their ass insisting games like Pong are the best games but they sure as hell were treated as great once upon a time.

In CoC1 npc’s main objective were to corrupt you, but in this, it seems that either you corrupt them, or they “corrupt” you just to fuck them.
