[Backers | TiTS] Kiro Quest Test Run

Whew! It’s been a long day of coding, writing, and watching MrPink doodle up amazing art, including some lovely designs for the bimbo version of Kiro that this quest is going to unlock. Perhaps more interesting to some of you – he also did art for a scene on the next planet that’s ready to go.

0.8.033 Changelog:

  • Kiro’s Quest can now naturally proc. To trigger it, simply have 100 trust and fly between planets until you get a distress call. Then bitch about how long other travel events are, fly some more, and then get the real Kiro distress call. (That’s how it worked for me in testing, anyway.)
  • Kiro’s transformation events can now occur after you receive her distress call. I didn’t have much time and energy left to thoroughly test them, so bugs are possible and probably. Still, there’s a lot of good text in there for those who like forced transformation and mind control.
  • Illustria Po can now be encountered and bartered with or defeated at the end of Kiro’s Quest. Let me know if you think she’s too easy – I erred on the side of easy, and she was one of the last things I did today, so may need some more tuning. She has five possible win scenes and a unique bad end!
  • Amber got a new scene in the imagepack for her Anno threesome.
  • New frog girl scene written by William. It’s “Fuck Her”.
  • Various fixes and tweaks.
  • Please maintain a save from before the quest – there is still incomplete content to finish out, and some options are not fully complete (like the option to take Kiro’s ship if she’s fully dollified.)
    • I will have another patch out tomorrow evening (or sooner) to clean up things and fill in missing content (like Kiro’s ship).
  • Kiro’s crew content is not in yet. Regular Kiro will have an event where she offers to join your crew. Bimbo Kiro will simply appear onboard when the time is right.

Tonight I’m gonna get everything blocked out and ready to go. Tomorrow I I’ll add her combat logic, connect the pieces, debug, and put out a patch for testies. I’ll just keep this post up and edit it when the stream is done. (P.S. I streamed a few hours this afternoon without telling anyone, since my internet is as reliable as a wet paper towel.)

Approximately 1,200 lines of code got written for Doctor Po’s victory sex scenes, bad end, dialogue, haggling, etc. I still need to write her combat routines – I wound up having to write some additional dialogues for intros/outros/escapes/etc instead. Hopefully patch soon (1-2 days soon, not tonight soon)!

…assuming all the Kiro transformation and taunting transmissions go easy.

Today’s patch is mostly odds and ends. I’m going to be doing a little bit of writing for the Kiro Quest end boss (she’s missing her intro and dialogues), then working on coding her next.

0.8.032 Changelog:

  • New system: DECORATIONS! You can now put decorations up on your ship. One of your equipped decorations will randomly display alongside your ship’s interior at the main ship menu.
  • Decorations can be unequipped by going to the Items->Unequip->Decorations menu.
  • Two decorations can now be pilfered from Kiro Quest – the holoposters that can be found in the hallways! When used with the image pack, the associated images will display with the decoration.
  • The 20th sexdoll in Kiro Quest you defeat will now drop a VR program that simulates the fight, usable at Mindwash Visors and Luca’s VR Parlor to relive the fight (without any of the transformations… well, mostly. There’s still some taint…). Did you know they drop specific items every fourth fight?
  • The Vulpatra codex entry has been added.
  • Three new images were added to the image pack, all of Zheng Shi’s Lorelei, all drawn by Bonnie Bovine. One is pictured at right.

  • You can now catch Shekka (crew only) working on a late Halloween costume.
  • New busts: Vulpatra sexdoll, sexdoll miniboss
  • Ardia’s debug domination options were disabled as they were supposed to be last patch.
  • Fiddled with how [pc.breasts] and [pc.chest] handle male chests. Sorry for anything this might break…

It’s public patch time! And more tomorrow…

So we put a videogame in your videogame!

How many times have I made that joke on this blog? It’s a lot. Definitely a lot. I’d apologize for it, but I’m not sorry in the slightest! I am sorry that having houseguests for what amounts to two weeks has slowed the rate of coding, but I was still finding some time to pound on the old Cherry MX switches and get work done. The new bit for this patch is a 60+ page VR mini-adventure you have to complete in order to proceed during Kiro’s recruitment.

It was slow to code as it required all the transformations to be applied to your statblock in the end instead of during – which also meant a lot of extra work for things like genital routing. I’d have to check “pc.hasCock()” and also things like “flags[“KQ_VR_LLAERWYN”] == 2″ or whatever, since (SPOILERZ!) some of the events can give you additional genitals. The bust artists are going to have their hands full churning out all the graphics for these NPCs, though I’m tempted to use some old Helia art for one of them…

0.8.029 Changelog:

  • A VR adventure now blocks the path to Doctor Po’s lab! This is part of the unfinished “Kiro Recruitment Quest” that can be playtested using the “doll” cheat code. Be aware that this content features a high degree of forced transformation. (Mostly written by Wsan)
  • The VR adventure includes: A male goblin, a sprite, a cursed princess, a salamander, and a demon “boss”.
  • Thyvara’s author has been properly credited as “Redknight910”.

There will be another public patch tomorrow with a bit of late Halloween content from Gardeford and some other odds and ends.

Lighterfluid finished coding up Ardia the other night, and I’m going to thrust her directly into your hands. As usually with big complex followers, there’s a lot of wheels in motion in this one that could break to produce fantastically wacky bugs! Please keep a keen eye for problems and report your issues on the bug report forum so we can get them chased down fast.

0.8.028:

  • Ardia is now properly recruitable. Careful though, she’s addictive, has a dominance meter, and can be fitted with a synthsheath if that’s your jam, though the last part isn’t exactly new. Savin, Wsan, and William all chipped in for her, so if you’re like me, look forward to a lot of T H I C C content.
  • That’s it! I haven’t coded since Friday.
  • P.S. A debug dominance meter adjustment was left in her menu. It will be gone next patch, so enjoy it while it lasts.

0.8.027 Changelog:

  • A new NPC has appeared! Thyvara can be found on Mhen’ga in the bar area (if I recall correctly). Fucky McFuck wrote her, and DrunkZombie did the code-touches.
  • Three New Dildos have been added to the game and placed in the “emergency dildo bucket”. Where is the bucket? On Kiro’s WIP recruitment quest. Type ‘doll’ to cheat your way there and fuck with the unfinished content.
  • The doors in Kiro’s recruitment quest should now properly accept dildos as keys.
  • Losing to the roaming fuckdolls now results in a bad end, written by William.
  • New busts: Laquine Fuckdoll, Goth Fuckdoll, Demon Fuckdoll, Illustria Po, Treated Male Zil.
  • New Image Pack Images: Kiroquest Earfuck Poster, Kiroquest Obedience Poster, and Bianca Blowjobs (Five of them: Human dong, horse dong, feline dong, canine dong, and suula dong). An updated Image Pack link will be included in the Patreon post.

More to come! Unfortunately my internet has been frustratingly slow on the upload side of things. Half the time I can’t even attach pictures to discord, let alone stream. Fortunately, my upstream decided to work again now that the rest of the world is sleeping, so the ImagePack did get uploaded…

2,500 words of variations slammed into this one – not as beefy as the vaginal stuff, but I feel like I did pretty good with it considering that anal isn’t my particular forte. I did lean a little into the “anal is dirty” in lower libido variants a bit, because I feel like that’s part of the fetish for some people, but I hope it doesn’t rub anyone the wrong way. There’s some lovely buttslut blurbs hidden in there as well.

This scene probably needs edits and corrections more than the last one due to me showing off less of it in discord, so be sure to smack the bug reports with any problems you find!

0.8.026 Changelog:

  • Dildos are now accessible from the masturbation menu. If you have more than one, it will open a submenu to select your plastic prong of choice.
  • Dildos can now be used rectally with a scene that shares absolutely zero text with the vaginal variant. Yay!
  • Some of the dildos got their stats and data scrambled together last patch. That should be fixed, though old items will probably still be screwy.
  • Various bug fixes courtesy of Jacques00.

Tomorrow I’m going to get all the doors in Kiro’s quest wired up to accept them properly~!
