Update2(12/7/17, approx midnight): tried streaming some Fortnite. Internet was dropping in and out – which is why I don’t stream much. Anyway, if you want to hear my sickness, give it a click.
Update3(12/9/17): A bunch of really gross stuff came out of my nose this morning. I’m 90% sure that means I’m starting to get better. Voice still sounds like I’ve smoked for 40 years though.
I keep having days where I feel better, then get sick again the next 1-2. Not fun. It was my sinuses at first, but now my nose is fine and it’s in my throat/lungs. TBH, my sinus infections usually progress along those lines, so I’ll either be completely better for good in a couple days or get pneumonia.

Last I checked, mercury isn’t conducive to good health.
There are actually two types of mercury that have been observed. Methylmercury, which is found in fish, is the main type that everyone is worried about and confuses with the type of mercury used in vaccines, ethylmercury. Ethylmercury is passed through the body much faster and as such, is less likely to cause more harm than some swelling at the injection site. I feel bad for people who get sick for extended periods of time. Every time I get a cold, I’m better in five days, without using any medication at all. I also never get the flu, despite also never getting vaccinated for it.

keep active. dont let yourself lay around too much. pneumonia is a constant risk in hospitals because of all the patients laying down for extended periods of time. prolonged periods of inactivity make it easier for you to develop pneumonia. keep active, even if its just walking around for a little bit every few hours.
Perhaps you should just buy a hermetically sealed bubble, and a UV light to kill the germs.

If you’re exposed to it for a long time, yes, but the germs will die faster than you’ll get cancer. That said, I don’t recommend actually doing this.

Have you tried getting an ultrasonic diffuser/humidifier? Dunno about you but dry winter air is the bane of my sinuses and existence, but my humidifier single handedly solved that, have combine that with diffused thieves oil and maybe use a roller bottle of it on your body to help prevent you from getting the flu all the time
Or, you know, stop sucking all the dirty hobo dicks in the alleys next to your house.

Probably already said, and obvious. But a warm bath usually helps with congestion.
I usually deal with congestion by taking a hot shower rather than a warm bath. Makes lots more steam.
