I made an attempt to code in Paige’s sparring… then discarded it for a simplified, paper-rock-scissors style minigame. The original was overly complex while simultaneously not very fun. It basically boiled down to “Smugglers can win and everyone else gets their face punched in.” After finishing up that, I started in on her follower content. I hope to have her completed for your playing pleasure sometime within the next 24 hours.

My Tech specialist, I wipe everyone due to that electrified blade and Drone boost due to Intelligence. I cruised through Riya xpac while with my smuggler and merc specialists, I had to grind and barely got pass the Juggernaut
And yet I’ve never done better in a fight than when I play a ranged-focused Smuggler. Aimed Shot FTW.

This, and paralyzing shock. Although having shock wear off after only one turn for six, seven turns in a row is suuuuuuuper annoying.
I’ve actually figured out how to beat him as a Tech through trial and error. It’s kinda annoying and takes a while though.

It’s also worth pointing out that this is essentially the equivilant of the pirates of the Caribbean porn parody. It’s a smut game guys, not a romcom or a dating sim.
Fenco is pretty unparalleled at letting people write what they want and putting it into the game. There’s an incredible amount of variety because of that. Unfinished variety that can feel a bit jigsawed, but variety nonetheless. At a certain point you’re losing something by trying to turn a game about screwing among the starts into something it isn’t. There are other games that have a concentrated focus in that direction and so do it much better.
