Presently I’m reviewing a submission by the name of Fisianna. It’s a real doozy, clocking in at something like 110+ pages. It might be Friday before we see this at the earliest, assuming it passes muster.
I’ve gotten through approximately 60 pages of it. They seem decent, but then again I haven’t gotten to any sexy bits yet either! More updates to come.
(Oh, and I coded a dream featuring Anno & Kaede with breast enhancements.)
The size by itself is not enough to valuate an event. If the plot is engaging, particularly if it interacts with other plot lines, even being long it could be a very good one. Also, while the sex scenes are relevant to the nature of the game, even if there are none it could still be interesting. The real concern however is the return of investment. If you have to invest too much of your time to translate the pages into proper coding, unless the event is really awesome, then it may very well not be worth it.
There are many ifs.
If it were up to me I would focus on the dom/sub pet dynamics and collars that are gaining traction now, they are engaging and seem relatively easy to code. Particularly, Xanthe and Siegwulfe need some attention. Maybe also Anno experimenting with the other side of a switch persona and the sub-tuner that has many lines in which it could be explored.
I am glad it’s not up to you, then. I have no clue where you got the idea where something like dom/sub pet dynamics is “relatively easy to code”, compared to, say, normal sex scenes, or putting an NPC in a bar/room.
It looks like a poor attempt at a sly “pls add more sub/dom pet relations” without sounding like it is.
The reason for it seemingly being easier is that it is usually short and does not have nested dependencies.
Sera’s collar so far is the most complex one and, from what I gathered, it consists of a new entry in an existing function at appearance.as, seven functions in seraXPack1.as, most of them optional sex scenes that are nice but an extra, and a masturbation scene which is likewise.
The infrastructure is in place. It was an honest suggestion, if I were to create a wish list this would not be at its top, what would be is a ship/quarters management system. But that is certainly very complex and I dont expect anything even related to go live anytime soon.
Well then, I can thank my lucky stars I didn’t intend for Fisianna to be coded as complicated as Bess/Ben or anything. The bulk of the project is largely dialogue stuff with some scene variations/availability based on a trust meter (which is done for a few other characters) so… I “don’t” think it should be as complicated to code as some other works.
As far as wanting more content as far as collars and petplay, and the Xanthe/Siegwolfe stuff, that’s pretty much mostly writer submission stuff too, and I imagine those took about the same time to implement as most other projects aside from the BIG projects like Nonesuch’s plantation quest, so if you want content like that sooner, commission someone to write it, or do it yourself.
…what.
But… Fisianna is already written. The content you want/prefer isn’t. Can’t code content that isn’t written.
Breast Enhancements are the Best Enhancements.
…Besides horsecocks
Ooh, ooh. I hope those enhancements are tactical nipples.
Make your dreams come true!
Probably wont happen but as a breast fan any content with bigger tits is awesome.
Seconded. Looking forward to having that dream. 😀
Nice. Finally Fisianna content getting some attention. Hopefully it gets in by the end of the month.
Will Uveto story be continued soon? I’d like to continue on with the story and also get those Frost Wyrm transformative. Has the one who’s in charge of writing Uveto recovered from their sickness or whatever it is that s/he had?
Will we be getting the chance to lvl up soon? also, while im sure no one wants to try to code it, being able to use the treatment multiple times would make things interesting.
“Being able to use the treatment multiple times would make things interesting.”
It’s not that nobody wants to code it, it’s more like that’s not how it works.
The Treatment has always been a ‘one and done’ thing and that’s how it should always be.
