At this point, I feel enough like myself that I can get back to work. I’m not sure what the hell happened there. My cough is clearing up, finally, and more importantly – my libido came back. It might seem a little TMI, but being into the stuff I’m working on is a pretty important part of the job – especially for the writing. Yesterday in particular, I was really feeling mostly like my old self, gnarly cough aside.

I still don’t know why the hell I got sick, especially considering I had just gotten over a different illness a few weeks earlier. Whatever. I’ve laid on the couch enough for the week.

• Savin’s mini-xpack for Kaede has been rolled into the game, courtesy of another fan-coder.
  • Savin Makes a Post Edit: The new xpak is some Exhibitionist content for Kaede. If you’ve already done her events you’ll need to grind her voyeur threesomes or tease options to unlock it. Once you do, there’s new scenes for Canadia and Tavros.
• I’ve gone through the main Uveto folder and attempted to bring the planet up to compliance with our new vaginal plug stuff.
• Both Pippa and the SubTuner are disabled outright for plugged folks. The former had some complex scene routing that didn’t handle a lack of genitalia well, and I was burning out by the later. If you want to do petplay, don’t plug up your orifices!

Now I just need to get it to display a status affect while it’s up, and I can move onto developing new stuff (and spending the next year fixing problems that this pussy plug stuff introduces!)

• The storm lancer has been added to Uveto’s encounter table for PC’s with genitals. He’s a big, blue dude with an attitude. Also there’s some weirdness his scenes introduce that is going to require some serious back-end revisions and updates to classic content. Presently he has three real scenes and some pretty involved combat routines.
• Cundarian (Storm Lancer) and Spinarran Codexes have been added to the game.

There’s two more scenes for the storm lancer to add in addition to support for plugged orifices that will need handled. I can’t say I’m looking forward to the latter, but the former ought to be good considering who wrote them. Have a great weekend, and I’m glad I got to drop this in the afternoon instead of monday!

• QuestyRobo’s “Milodan Breeding Solstice” event has been added to the game. For optimal experience, turn on silly mode first (or you won’t see the second half!) Requirements: Low chance of encounter on any combat square. Requires genitals (and an unfertilized womb if feminine).
• Shade’s event has been reworked AGAIN. Now she won’t send you the email until after you’ve been to her house for the first time on Uveto, and the logic for determining which variations of the scene you get has been simplified. Here’s hoping this solves everyone’s problems with it.

• Fixed a bug that stopped the female breeding solstice from proccing unless you had multiple vaginas.
• UpcastDrake slipped in Gwen’s holiday event as well!

Quick confession – UpcastDrake actually coded Randy Claws in last night, not long after I pushed the last patch, but at that point I was out the door to go to karaoke with a friend. House maintenance ate up most of my time this morning, but I’ve spent some time fixing bugs and am going to code one more holiday thing before rolling back into normalcy. More stuff from this contest will definitely slip in for next year, though!

Happy Holidays to everyone of every faith and culture! If you don’t have a holiday, that’s cool. You get presents anyway. Despite a busy weekend that kept me away from a computer most of the time, I managed to finish grading up all the contest entries from the contest and even code a short event Savin wrote up for the season. UpcastDrake has volunteered to code another good submission, so I’ve passed him Anno’s. I’ll try and update you guys as soon as I have something on that front.

• A Christmas celebration with Shade has been added! The way I wired it up… it SHOULD be repeatable every year. Due to how convoluted Shade’s encounters on Uveto are set up, it might be buggy. Note: requires Shade to be on Uveto and on good terms with the PC.

P.S. Savin and Adjatha are still finishing up grading. Once they get done, I’ll run the scores through the sorting hat and see who gets to Hufflepuff their way to first place. Thus far the scores have been surprising. Now I’ve got to run – these stockings aren’t going to stuff and hang themselves!

• It is now possible to get a fairly involved quest from the Red Myr Federation to put down a rebel group. Penned by Savin and coded by UpcastDrake, we hope you all enjoy working with those awful, terrible, no good, very bad sexy, awesome ants. (Gold Red Myr 4 Lyfe!)
• Also featured in Federation Quest: a 7×7 hacking puzzle, ridiculous battles with five characters on one side, 3 or 4 bad ends, a new lust grenade, and a sweet greatcoat.
• Ula’s lesbian sex scene is in. Also, all three sex scenes in Korg’ii hold can be repeated. Her talk menu has also been added and set up with a converted version of the initial “stars” talk you can pursue with meeting her.
• Almost all of Ula’s repeatable content is now set up support using her name instead of “The Korgonne” in places and also has support for a later upgrade to the translation algorithm to allow for proper english dialogue.

Hopefully I can dump some interesting conversations in there and spin up the translator stuff by early next week. I also want to reintroduce her cave sex options under the guise of “roleplay.”

Geddy is still working on the .exe wrapped for local downloads. I’ll keep you posted if there’s a significant delay or hangup that prevents us from deploying it.
