I got a little bigger issue when it’s supposed to download the latest image pack it just Grays out I can’t even see the artwork it covers lies behind it I think I found a little bug
I’m honestly really confused. I’ve been absolutely everywhere checking out all hangers for hours every day I turn this game on trying to find Carmelita but I’ve not found her even once. is there no reliable way to find her? I do have a backer version.
Same for me, Tavros and Mhen’ga both have Hangars but I’m not seeing anything new in either. And yes I’m playing the Backer Build

Couldn’t prompt the “Sit down” at the Tavros bar with an end game character (lvl 12 @ Pheadra)
I only got it with a character a lvl 7 character (just reahced Myrellion)

Can confirm, on existing saves at current end game she appears to be unable to proc. There might be a new flag added that isn’t being triggered on existing saves.
I had to edit my save to set the mhenga probe cash flag to “1” because apparently I didn’t have it. It seems to have something to do with either losing to Dane or not paying for the probe. It’s been so long that I don’t remember how the story goes anymore but that’s the only thing that fixed it for me.

I never read her character description so I had much different image in my head of a fox taur; something more akin to the sphinx? I think, from CoC. her design is far from bad by any means but its certainly a little strange to look at.
I think it would be quite out of place in a game other than TiTs.
Regardless, I have been looking forward to her getting in.

more that both halves are furry. When I hear taur not connected to mino, I assume human upper half and animal lower half. She has an animal upper half and lower and it just looks off since she seems to have taken to differen fox TFs simultaneously.
Again I don’t dislike it, just not what I originally imagined.
That’s kind of funny, because as far as I’ve seen, the vast majority of taurs in the furry fandom have the upper half anthropomorphic (generally, but not always, matching the quadrupedal lower half), not human.
Though interestingly, TiTS actually does have a not-insignificant tendency towards human uppers.

Messing around with my character I found that goo hair is no longer transformable back to regular hair with foxfire/frostfire. Was that an intentional change at some point and if so is there a way to regain regular hair from goo hair?
I also can’t seem to get the nee girl to appear, spent days checking out hangars and the bar on Tavros with nothing.
She’s in the Tavros bar first then she appears at hangars.
I saw that in the other comments but after like 3 days chilling in that bar I still haven’t seen her. Is there some other condition I’m missing?
The prompt you want is “Sit Down’ – I got confused as well, looking for one that said fox-taur or something, till I realised I’d never seen that one before.
Weird, I’ve got a few different characters and still can’t get “Sit Down” to prompt. I’ve got Sellesy, Alex, Shelly, and Saendra constantly, with Anno, Erra, and Kimber rotating in and out on two of the other buttons but still no hot new foxtaurs. I’m assuming there’s some condition or flag I’m missing, but I can’t find anything that looks like it has to do with her in the save editor.
(I am on the backer build, re-downloaded it just to be sure)
I got her to appear once Steele was at level 7, not sure that is the requirement though.
I did a brand new game and she appeared in Tavros for me once I completed Mhen’ga – think I was level 4 at the time.
I was excited when I saw her being drawn in stream, definitely looking forward to exploring her content.
Its pretty great content. The only hang ups I have are that giving her pussyblossom is a one time event and the new equipment never gets used again; as well that her impress option is a dice roll instead of threshold. Nothing close to a deal breaker.
It’s really disappointing that Tech Specialists can no longer summon multiple turrets. That was the only reason I enjoyed combat due to feeling like a summoner. Hopefully this change is reversed.
Totally agree, the turrets don’t even do that much damage on their own. At least buff them first.

The scene for failing to impress Carmelita is really good. Was trying to figure out a way to lower my stats when I got it.
I do wish there was a way to just do that scene, maybe with a couple variants, once you’ve failed to impress her a couple times. Instead of having to roll the dice on whether you’ll manage to not impress her.

The Taur-centric equipment was inside you all along.
Although I now only play as a Kineticist, the inability to summon more than one turret sounds sad. I loved this ability, but after such a nerf the effectiveness of the turret is questionable.
It was how I managed to beat so many bosses. And while it was fun to break the game in such a way, it was pretty braindead. But like… IT’S A LEVEL 11 SKILL BRO! Late game stuff is getting nerfed to such a degree. At the very least make it so it’s that we can’t have more than 1 at a time. Not just 1 per fight.
Regardless, I’ll have fun finding yet another way to break the game. Tis what I do best.
Oh right, I should mention that I’m only mildly annoyed at this. Not entirely heartbroken about it. Keep up the good work devs.

Speaking of NPC companions, there have been times I get Anno in combat with me. Are there a set of requirements for her to appear that I’m just not seeing?

Mindstream is reading character flags wrongs? Preferred gender is set to Male and they’re routinely being referred to as a girl, more blatant is how the mindstream seems to think they have a vagina and breasts (which they do not).

Ok, yeah save from 103 with no Tika on crew loaded in 102 shows her on the crew list. I dunno if that’s what you call “fixing”.

Trying further trials, frostfire/foxfire no longer seem to be able to revert goo hair to regular hair IF you take more than one dose of Galomax. But if you only take one Galomax pill it does work. I don’t remember that being the case in previous builds.

I VERY liked Carmelita, and very wish more content with her, and very want that she can become part of the crew (+Another usage of tauric-center).
