Spent the week delving into the guts of Electron to do something pretty complicated, all things considered. We had a couple of complaints about the quality of the images in the downloadable build, so I set about building a system to fix it.
One heads up though: as part of working on the downloadable build, I ended up changing some things around internally. If you were using the save slots in the downloadable build, you will need to save those slots to file before you update. This won’t be a problem again, I just thought it was better to fix what I did as early as possible.
The downloadable backer build now has built-in Image Pack support – hit the button on the main menu and the game will download larger resolution versions of the images, and when complete, will install them into the game for you. The way I’ve gone about this will also minimize the amount of stuff that should need to get downloaded in the future too, meaning further updates to the ImagePack will be much smaller over all – when it comes time to update the game, just grab the latest version and it’ll handle whatever updates are needed to the ImagePack before installation for you!
I’m also shoving native Linux builds out of the door as part of this too, so give me a little bit to make sure all the download pages are updated and these builds should start appearing over the next half hour or so. It’s going to take me a little bit to unclog the build pipes because a lot of things have changed behind the scenes so things might be a little weird for a while.

- Backer: Verusha’s lover expansion is now available. I don’t know much about her, but I’m sure somebody will be along before too long to update the post with some better details! (By Doots!)
- Backer: Backer Downloaded builds now have an option for larger resolution images; the main menu will kind of guide you through the process.
- Public: Dating Teyaal’s daughter is now available to the public. Take her out on the town! (Savin & Leek)
- Paige should have better navigation between menus. (Leek)

Afaik it was listed as a lover expansion. I haven’t dug into it to actually see what it was about, I’m just going off of the commit logs.
Does Verusha have more content? Exciting! If it was a typo i’ll be disappointed.
I don’t know if this is a bug or not but after attempting to load a save file it says that it is older than the current format used by the game.
It’s a brand new save from the current version.
That shows up pretty much every time a new patch comes out. Just save over the file while playing the new version and it’ll go away. (Until the next new patch.)
Decided to download the latest update and my save files don’t even show up in the new one so I have to transfer via save to file.
Uhh the option to download the image pack ( better resolution pics ) is disabled and doesnt seem to change.

I find that it’s easy enough to play CoC2 without one, but TiTS is far more RNG-heavy so you can’t get your MC to look as you’d actually like without one

I’ve personally just been fiddling with the .json files and it’s worked out for the most part. Granted there are certain things that I just don’t feel like narrowing down, but it’s easy to learn. Though a save editor would definitely speed it up.
I go to teyaal and her daughter in the rec deck, but there’s no option to do anything but sit and go with teyaal. Am I missing something?

how do you use the “sleep” option with verusha? whenever its around night time it just says nobody is home, and during the day its obviously greyed out

So I progressed spending time with her until its greyed out. Are there any more events/scenes that gives a resolution to her telling Steele about having her as a lover after finally settling down in Tavros? Because it would be a great sense of closure to her event run.

If I recall (I say this because I am starting from the beginning) the last one was being at Beth’s place to try outfits.
I got email from Ophellia about her moving to Tavros, but not Verusha herself.

can anyone tell me where to meet verusha after the email cause been looking around tavros for a few in game days now cant seem to find her and going to tarkus just triggers the old content? would appreciate any help 🙂
If it is the first set of messages, you go to the hanger a use the Merc transport. If it is after that when she moves to Tavros, they are located on the east side of the residential floor.
is the merc transport supposed to be on tavros? cause all i get is the phoenix and the majin tried checking every hour 🙂
It should be on the same screen as the Phoenix. After visiting her on the merc ship a few times it disappears, and you meet her on the residential floor in the right hallway.
It can take time between scenes. First, she leaves Tarkus. Then, the first message to meet a merc transport at the hangar on Tavros to see her. This repeats a few times, before she moves into the residential district.
I would try saving on a new slot, then holding down the sleep button so a week passes and make sure to leave Tavros and come back so it can reload the area.
so im kind of at this point to, basically got the hey i need to ship out for a week, waited around, tried to find her again, couldn’t ended up on tavros at anons bar, play out that bit, tell her what happened, get the email about meeting again or waiting a week. And just cant find her, not on the residential, not on tarkus, just no where. never did anything invo9lving a merc ship either.
Trying to avoid exact spoilers but you should get a message from Ophelia Fields some time after Verusha leaves Tarkus.
Basically along the lines of ” If you want to come and see her, one of our pilots can take you to the ship. We have a pilot on standby at Tavros station for many reasons.”

So how do you access the new Verusha content?
Sex her a few times and complete all talks. Once you do, wait about a week and when you talk to her, she’ll mention leaving and won’t be available for a while. Then wait about 40 days until you get an email to visit her Merc Ship on Tavros. From there, progress each visit with wait days in between until you get an email titled “More Good News.” After that, you can find her on the third floor.
How does one progress with Verusha? Must have slept with her a million times and I haven’t seen anything else to do with her.

I believe it is talking to her enough as well as sex. It took me several weeks of constant talks, sex and travel off world and back to get the goodbye event to start the new content.
Its a nightmare for people that dont want to interact with her… Masculine side. Took me a long time.
I am a bit curious about something. The save editor, I only use it when I realize I messed up on something but it’s too far back in my playthrough for me to just boot up an old save, is that still supported?
The Editor is a fan project, so it was never ‘supported’, technically.
The old Editor is not being updated for JavaScript, but there is a new one being worked on. I hear it’s currently capable of ‘basic things’, whatever that means.
It’s also possible to use the Browser Console (F12) to change things without using an external Editor.

I asked on Discord and the writer for Verusha said its bugged at mo.. since the sleep event is meant for night and at mo we cant actually interact with her after a certain time in the afternoon..

I don’t think that content is live yet. They’re doing groundwork behind the scenes but a bug made it so it caused crashes so they announced a fix for it, but it isn’t a live part of the game yet.
Any chance you know how I could run this through Steam on Linux Proton/Steam Deck? It runs fine when executing the ‘tits’ file, but if you try to add it as a ‘non steam game’, it refuses to launch, sadly.
Good job on the Linux version – it works very well! I do have a suggestion, if you can do it: if I pass the name of a save as a parameter, it would be nice if that save were automatically loaded.

i play public but i suddenly walked in on a drunk verusha on tavros and ive never done any of the other things people are talking about here but she sent me an email with the week deadline but shes still pre content in the bar on tarkus
Verusha seems to be bugged. Can’t access her apartment to talk to her.
When i get to the beach hangout the two options to bang the cat boi are greyed out with no explanation and i cant progress through the hangout line by leaving

Can you use the same techniques as the Image Pack download uses to update the rest of the Electron application? In other words, if you update the Javascript to enable a new quest, the installed app could just pull down that section of the image rather than a whole new download? That could save you a bit of bandwidth.
