Gwon wants to say hello!
We got a short, stacked hotfix coming in piping hot, for those who liked last night’s patch but had some bugs or thought that there weren’t enough goblins in it!
Shortstack Hotfix (0.9.031 hotfix #2795+):
- The Brightwater testing content received a number of fixes, from fixing a “loop” possibility in the dungeon’s scene routing to ensuring that the bar encounter with Harru is actually in the correct menu. (lowercase_donkey)
- Gwon, the owner of Gabmart Threadz on Dhaal got a small expansion written by Adjatha that gives her a whole mess of new interactions and fun. (lowercase_donkey)

The author has the expansion written, there’s just a couple of missing pieces that have to be filled in. So: hopefully soon!
Is there any way to access this hotfix as a SubscribeStar backer? I can’t seem to link it with my account to get backer status.

This happens when Syri is also crew, for some reason.
In my case, it happened when I recluted Syri (Sorry, my English is not so good)

Where do you go to proc the event for brightwater testing? can’t seem to unlock it
If you did the Bright Water dungeon boss, I don’t believe the testing will be available afterwards.
If you did either of the other two options, you just kinda gotta wander around till you get an event that tells you about the new girl at the Milk Bar. I don’t know if it’s a specific part of the city or if there’s a certain percent chance, but my testing showed a kinda low chance. I ended up getting it near the north end of the city, so I guess wander around there for a little while?

Hay have a MIA Anno any fix for that yet.
The Gwon expansion implies we have to get some batteries, but I have defeated several different enemies and gotten bupkis – is that part of the expansion working?
I never had any notification that anything dropped, I went back to talk with her and apparently I had gotten them all? I fought everything I could find down there

Thanks, that was the hint. They really should add a drop message for that, however.
As other people have said, Anno has disappeared with this patch, but I figured I would add some details. Interactions with other crewmates that require Anno function as if she’s there, but the button to interact with Anno directly is blank. The wake up scene’s for sleeping with Anno are also unaffected. The description on the crew tile of the ship lists 15 crew members, which is correct (I use the clown car cheat). When i go into my list of crewmates Anno’s background activity does not show up, but she can show up in others like helping Kase with work. I’m also not a backer, so I don’t know what could have caused this.
It’s a real shame that, if you do the Brightwater Dungeon, you have to choose between saving your cousin or doing the testing.
Mind if I ask what the testing consists of?
I seem to still be losing ties with the dealer in Blackjack on Zheng Shi. Wasn’t this supposed to be patched a few hotfixes ago? Usually ties go to the player, or at worst no one wins. I shouldn’t be losing blackjack when I get 21 off the deal just because the dealer also ends up at 21 after extra cards being played.
sometimes house wins ties, I think it’s stated somewhere in the game, just not too openly
So in this build specifically, I am trying to shift goo on crotch and it crashes the game.
Can somebody please explain to me how I’m supposed to get any scenes with her? There’s a prompt for a Loom but I have no idea where to get it.
Can anyone explain to me how to get these Gwon scenes? I’ve had no luck finding this loom thing that’s prompted when you interreact with her.
