Gedan: I got lost deep in the mines digging in to some more of the UI state errors; many of these now are split between ‘Oopsy Woopsy, forgot to update this bit of the code to handle the new way things work’, and not being defensive enough about the realities of software running on real devices. A lot of the crashes don’t really make sense easily at first glance, and it takes a while to figure out what the real cause is – and a lot of them have been things like ‘User clicks button, game takes a bit to do a thing, long enough that user can click something else that I never expected them to be able to click, causing the second thing to overwrite part of the first thing and put things in a weird state.’ Part of why I wanted to move to this way of doing things is because it made it much easier to have a hard-error when things like this happened, closer to the point they were actually caused, making it much simpler to figure out what, exactly, was going wrong. At any rate, another batch of them I hope have been slayed, clearing the brush for the next endless set of buggles to stick they heads above the parapet ready for the chop.
Fenoxo: I need help! We didn’t get to test the Kineticist class as hard as I would have liked, particularly on the high end. To address that, I’m unlocking it this patch, but player beware! There may be crashes. There may be broken abilities. There may be a crushing lack of psi-impacting accessories to equip! The high level abilities might be too weak. The mid-level abilities might be to strong. Please only roll a kineticist if you’re okay with all of that and have the time to provide me with some feedback on them. I intend to work on hotfixing some adjustments for them on Sunday or Monday.

- Foes do not always get up from trip immediately – the chance now scales with their intelligence and increases every round.
- Telekinetic Warrior attacks now count as “Crushing” damage.
- Improved damage scaling on most higher level kineticist abilities:

- Goethermal Spike will scaling 50->75% for thermal and kinetic portions.

- [Backers] The Kineticist class can now be created! This psionic character class allows you to start with psionic aptitude and the ability to skewer your foes with pure force, leech away their heat to restore your energy, and more!
- The kineticist should focus on willpower & intelligence when leveling up. Willpower drives the damage scaling & saving throw difficulty levels, and intelligence powers your to-hit rolls with abilities that can miss.
- Kineticists should not partake in bimbo content if they wish to be viable – for now. An event to allow low will and/or intelligence kineticists to apply themselves in other ways will be deployed in a future patch.

YEEEEEEEES! Been waiting for ths new class to start a new playthrough!
So after playing though several hours and getting to Dhaal I have some general thoughts, The class feels really fun to play and can do some neat tricks, however once you get to level 7-8 content it really falls down fast. With the other class picking up strong buffs there especially the second attack/shot the kineticist really falls behind in damage which can make a lot of content a slog when you are dealing 40-60 damage a spell and the enemies have a combined shield/health pool in the mid hundreds,
Siegwulfe’s Treat option is covered by ‘Remove Leash’ button still.
you can get it back by removing the collar in the appearance menu
Thank you for being patient on this one. I thought this was on someone else’s list, but went ahead and fixed it for the next patch. Hopefully that will make the hotfix Fen mentioned.

Yeah, this would be helpful. The update gives literally no information other than they are scenes that’re triggered by something to do with the slavesuit. I mean, we don’t even know if it’s triggered by just having it in the inventory or if Steele has to wear it.

I’m digging the kineticist so far, but the statuses and debuffs from the offensive abilities almost never proc and at higher levels that is causing some major headaches. Just got to Uveto and I’m routinely getting my shit kicked in.
The odd thing I found is the gravity + geo spike combo doesn’t technically work. Any enemy I have tripped has immediately gotten up so you can never get the auto crit. That said you can trip lock them if you get lucky but the class seems kinda awkward currently.
They put another bonus vs Trip in?
Vaulting Strike has a similar issue. Mercs can only Trip with the Rough Leash or Hailstorm, It’s possible to Trip with Vaulting Strike itself, but it doesn’t count. I’ve suggested changing to Staggered, so it has synergy with Lunge, but maybe they’ll fix Trip now. If they do, adding Trip Chance to some of the other whips might be a good idea.
I’m noticing that the kineticist is very defensively strong but pretty weak offensively. I think once we get gear added to the game that’s actually tailored to the class it should even out nicely.
Any thoughts on multiclassing in the future?

I downloaded the latest version via subscribestar and the imagepack seems to not be working properly. I get a popup in the top right saying it’s installed but the “download imagepack” button is greyed out and says determing status seemingly forever. In game it’s as if I haven’t installed it.

It’s a disguise you can get on Zen Shi to get to the probe. In fact… I think it’s mandatory.
The Slave Uniform is not mandatory. It lets you avoid most combat, but everything can be done without it.

Hey, can we get an option in the cheats menu to be able to edit our stats (Physique, Aim, Willpower.. etc) so people don’t have to access the save editor, and it would make it easier for people playing on the android versions to skip the stat training grind for every new playthrough?
Okay so I don’t know if this is something I should make a bug report for or not, but even though my appearance screen describes me as human, Riya continually thinks that I’m an alien; it just seems odd to me given that my character isn’t an alien. The only non-human parts of her (appearance wise) are succubus legs and her tongue. That said, the issue only seems to exist for the JavaScript version.
She’ll treat you as non-human if you have ANY non-human parts because she’s that big of a… yeah…

2. Wear the slavesuit before moving into hostile tiles.
3a. When encountering a Bored Jumper, you will have an option to submit, which can include a variety of scenes. Another one will let you pick what you do.
