After putting together a system for armor stats, I’ve taken the time to run through every armor-slot item in the game and give it a once-over. Lots of skimpy items got bonus evasion. Some things got nerfed. Some things got buffed. One quirk of the new stat allocation system for armors gives rare/very rare items bonus % reduction to damage types – so “common” store-bought items are forced to determine if they want elemental resistances or typical attributes.
If an item seems unusually strong or out of place, please let me know. There’s always a chance I might have given a Tavros Station item Uveto stats or vice-versa.
0.7.88 Changelog:
- Armors have had their attributes re-balanced according to my sweet, sweet spreadsheets.
- Crystal armor now takes 125% damage from explosive-tagged attacks instead of 140%.
- Mirrored armor now takes addition damage from bullets, though the resistance bonus from being “plated” or “ablative” likely cancels most of it out.
- Fenoxo became even more handsome.
Once I get through accessories and shields, look forward to our regularly scheduled programs. Sylvie the Moosetaur sketch courtesy of JayEcho (and Elenia, who clearly won some kind of sketch raffle.)

You sir are being too modest, i’m sure you meant “The Handsomest”.
Pls no nerf kinetic based armors, I’m still getting rekt by milodan and pirates
Didn’ think that last one was possible.
So which armors got buffed? Right now the strongest armor I have is the Goo Armor, and it’s been my best since Myrellion.
Any changes to Nova / Grey Goo Armor?
Loading up a save where I had a couple different armors lying around, I think the Grey Goo Armor’s stats are unchanged. I’m going to suspect it was used as the benchmark for what a ‘strong’ armor should be stat total wise.
To add to what I said earlier since I have been playing through a bit more extensively since, Grey Goo Armor has the same stats but could be argued to be ‘nerfed’ slightly in that you’re much more prone to running into armor that is equivalent or better on Myrellion+. So if you felt like Grey Goo was solid armor before the rebalance, you now have a LOT more style options that are roughly equivalent in viability.
Hey. Thank you for checking and getting back to me.
Business Clothes are the new meta now.
Could someone please tell me what I need to change in the save file to make the leaf-shaped ship reappear? I misclicked and didn’t save for ages before that happened >_>
I like how most of the comments are just about finished Fen bragging about himself.
“Fenoxo became even more handsome.”
You need to be handsome first to become more handsome and he was never handsome.
Ban this madman!
Hey may i ask a question that was bothering me practicly from day 1 of starting playing this game? Why the hell we have only one accessory slot when we have so many items that can be weared on completely different parts of the body? I mean is it truly that hard to code accessory system for slots allocated to back items (Light Jetpack, Explorers Coat, Lightning Duster and Salamander Longcoat) to face items (Aim-assisting Eyepiece and Flash Goggles) and other minor accessory items (Cargobot, Minesweeper, Varmint Leash and etc.)?
It’s mostly for balance reasons. There are some very powerful accessories in the game, and more will be coming, and being able to stack those effects would be cause for an additional rebalancing of the enemies in the game.
