A quick head’s up – I’ve been doing a lot of reviewing of ancient submissions that have piled up since this has been a hectic week with family birthdays and V-day all landing around the same time, resulting in a tired Fen. Turns out sitting around and reading takes less brainpower than churning it out yourself, luckily. One highlight thus far has been Verusha, the hyena mercenary. She’ll be good stuff. Zil pregnancy is also looking pretty good.
In addition, I spent the better part of two or three hours playing TiTS for the first time in a good long while. Got all the way through Mhenga and Tarkus, picking up Kase and Anno along the way. I have to say, the item re-balance feels really nice thus far in game. Armor and weapons all have interesting niches, so it was nice to pour over two different items and contrast and compare which would be best for my build.

What is the word of Fen on additional eyes in transformatives? I’ve noticed that they appear in Frostwyrm tf but i’m not sure if this will become a trend (or even be implemented) due to the additional variables to account for with eye tfs
I think the spider tf from POE A gives you extra eyes, but if it does they are purely cosmetic. Like the ones from CoC.

Unfortunately, eyes are only cosmetic. I would find it great if there would be scenes where you could see, for example, with demon eyes in the dark.

Well, i cant why they cant make an eye mechanic where certain eyes give a boost in different locations. like a pitch black area with plenty of health damaging trip hazards, being able to see in the dark would help a lot, if low reflexs, tripping would still be possible though. in the “dark zone”, having eyes with the ability to see in the dark would mean not needing a flashlight.
That can of worms has been opened many times over. Nothings changed, perhaps nothing should ever change.
(also, pariteal eye is vestigial third eye, not something that has any pragmatic use)
Wanted to ask, any notes on Hand-so and the Tarkus robots? Just had a character do the Sexbot quest and reread the Hand-so data bead. Might be a way to have an on-ship VR lounge similar to Lotus Eater on Canadia. (Plus you could collect holodiscs for it, like a certain “Horsecock Hell 2”)
I’ve been waiting for that bit to get in for a while now, we can only hope that it’ll be in Soon(TM)
It’s entirely possible I’m wrong, but I think the writer of Hand-So stopped writing.
And by possible that I’m wrong, I mean it could be a different person, but I remember a post several months ago that one of the more prominent contributors was ceasing to write.
As far as I know JimThermic was the only one who has said he was working on other things. Though he did write Bess, he did not write Handso as far as I know. Though I could be mistaken.
Actually, I believe Nonesuch wrote Hand-So and continues to write stuff for TiTs.

I remember someone mentioning that the Steele ship was a bit like a clown car with all the people in it, did they ever add a max crew number or is it still infinite? Also if they did add a set limit how many can I have?
I don’t think there’s a limit right now; or if there is, it’s higher than the number of current possible crewmates.
No limit until there are new ships to get.
