With the coming of the spoopiest of holidays, I’m slipping fully into Halloween mode. Enter Skellinoxo! I reviewed a 15 page or so Halloween submission from some old friends I’ve known since the CoC days, and I have to say, one of the scenes is friggin’ amazing. It’s been a while since I’ve been submitted something of that caliber. Fuck Halloween tricks – I got a treat!
I also started jumping in to write a bit for the encounter. A bit where you put on a “centaur costume” that actually turns you into a centaur. Whoooooo! Spooky! I’m only 600 words in. I haven’t gotten to the part about tentacles slithering into nethers in to link nervous systems or the irrepressible breeding drives of such a creature, but that can come soon.
It wasn’t all ghouls and goblins for me today. I put the final touches on another BionaHole for Inessa to sell and coded it into the game. We should have that for the next patch drop. I’m a little disappointed I didn’t get much out this week, but there will definitely be something next week. Maybe not Savin’s promised dungeon, but I can confirm a transformative bodysuit that’ll let you party as a CoC-style goblin. People like that stuff, right?

sooo out of curiosity, will Steele ever run the “risk” of getting infested by a Fungi?
Probally not until SSTDS mechanics are implemented.
The fungi only affect Myr as well so Steele should be fine against their infection.
I think theirs supposed to be a special encounter that can infect you (fungal queen), but i think the encounter is unimplemented.
What happens if Steele has been overdosing on myr pills and is effectively a myr hybrid? I’m sure the fungi wouldn’t care as long as it’s myr enough xp.

Someone not saying me should create the possibility of encountering abandoned spacecrafts or stations drifting throughout the galaxy perhaps even a mythological ghost ship. I mean like you could just randomly hear something about it from either the extranet or some random npc…. Well its just a thought.

Well the fungal Myr are definitely a lot less horrifying than I pictured them. Initially comparing them to “The Last of Us zombies” kinda ruined them for me at first.
You compared them to LoU infected over actual irl ant controlling fungus those were based of? What?!

I can’t get to Inessa at all on Tavros Station. I checked the map on the Smutosaur.us and it shows it has gotten bigger, but mine is still small with the old content

It has, but there’s a low chance of it showing up while you play. If you REALLY need to play it now, you can set your system clock back to halloween, then open up the game and play.
