We’ll probably be sticking with this theme for a while, and we already know about the bug with the chat/wiki links not working. It’s an issue I’ll need Geddy to help me solve.

I wish i could get this dark mode without possibly accidently downloading some kind of file encryptor that will lock down half of my pc and ask for payment threatening to destroy the latter if i don’t… dark mode indeed.
Windows 10 comes with that feature automaticly. All you have to do is pirate something!

Its pretty good. Only downside is the white boarder the guy above mentioned, but there’s ways around that like what Fen mentioned. I’m happy with it. It also has vastly improved multidisplay support, if that matters to you.

From what I heard, the latest ‘insider’ test build of Windows 10, which I assume will turn into a bunch of updates eventually, allows you to customize the title bar color again. Dunno if that takes care of everything (haven’t left Windows 7 yet so I can’t speak from experience), but I do think things will get better with time.

Well, it doesn’t work on my win10, dunno why.
If you want to change the border color, go to “Settings” from the start menu, click “Personalization”, and go to the “Colors” tab. You should be able to select which color you want the borders to be.
I don’t get how, it set so that it should adopt the colors from the background image which is dark-blue currently.. yet the borders are white.. sigh.
Did you fix it, at least? There’s nothing worse than the horror of light themes. Just look at Android’s new OS.
I agree that a darker palette would be better. Maybe not black, but perhaps a very dark blue, trim it with that CoC vellum yellow-brown?

I actually quite enjoyed this more lighter toned website theme, you shouldn’t go back to the dark themed one, this is much better.
Though, I would change the posts BG’s to a more baige colored tone, and the website BG to a slightly darker white, but only as much needed just to not blend people coming from darker websites over to your lighter one.
Is anyone else having trouble with the game only showing a blank screen when trying to play the site?
Are you sure you’re waiting long enough? i seem to recall them taking a minute or so to load on site. if you have waited then im not sure 🙁
It worked after i waited like over a minute which i can account to the slow internet i’m on and damaged computer.

Pretty much. Dumped basically two days worth of effort into standing up all the hosting stuff and getting baseline stuff in place. Probably another day or two of work to get back to having everything working good, even if it’s not as-it-was.
i was wondering what happened when i suddenly couldn’t access the site anymore. i checked taintedspace and it was still running fine.
I actually like change. I guess on the one hand it sucks that all the old archives of posts and whatever else is lost but the games are fine. Out with the old in with the new and all that jazz. I like the new theme but if you do decide to change it because of the brightness, maybe go with another color other than black?

Well… this is gonna take some getting used to.
Looking at the website code, the links that don’t work have jquery JS elements on them. I haven’t delved deep enough to see what they do, but maybe that’s what’s making them not work? Gotta head out for a while, then work, but maybe tonight I can take a better look and give you some more detailed ideas.

how do you get the game to play on the browser all my computer is doing is downloading things and i tried opening through my internet and i just downloads mote
If you’re using Firefox try this, go to Menu > Options > Applications. Scroll down until you see SWF File in the Content column, then see if Use Shockwave Flash is showing up across form it under the Action column. Regardless, click on what ever is showing up and scroll down the selections to Shockwave Flash and reselect it.
