- It is now possible to land on the next planet: Dhaal. This has shifted the non-story planets down one slot on the list. We’ll probably chunk them into a submenu before long.
- The capsule hotel on Dhaal is now complete. Expect a comfy place to stay for cheap, or more in-depth service for a price.
- Basic placeholder taxis have been placed on Dhaal.
- All content should be considered WIP and subject to change – even the room layout.

Is it true that enemy encounters on Dhaal would be possible even as you leave your ship? I saw something like that a while back on Discord, but I don’t know if those plans have changed. Honestly, it sounded incredibly annoying…
Unless it’s just a one-off thing, that might be okay. But it sounded like the immediate area around your ship could have random encounters, and this planet would have fewer safe zones in general.

Ah. Well, I’m still not into the idea of having to deal with random encounters while going between friendly NPCs. I mean, I’m trying to imagine getting attacked just going between the ship and the hotel, and I’m sorry, but I think that’d just get old. The ship is basically your fast travel point, and there’s a good reason why most games usually put those in safe locations. It gives the player a chance to orient themselves, and it makes it more convenient for players pursuing specific objectives. At the very least, I hope these factors were taken into consideration.
This comment chain is filled with misconceptions.
First off, it’s pretty much impossible to proc a random encounter when you land on planet since nearly every encounter algorithm gives you 3-4 “free” steps before it starts to roll for enemies.
Second off, yes, the area around your ship is somewhat hostile, but there is a taxi station right there at your ship. There are going to be safe areas and not so safe areas.

That’s good to know. I was only going off of what little info I could find, and what was there sounded…like just flatout bad game design. Thank you for clearing up that a taxi will be accessible right by your ship, as that was one of my main concerns. I’m also glad to know the player gets “free steps”, since obviously it would be annoying to get an encounter the moment you stepped into a hazardous zone. I had noticed this, but I wasn’t aware it was purposeful until now.
As you guys know what you’re doing and actively avoiding potentially major issues, then there’s nothing to worry about.

I am more concerned about the status of the Bimbo Kiro content. Honestly I want to play it for the sake of the Completionist in me.

But I’m also glad to get some more progress to new locations and story. Been mainly focusing on CoC2 recently cause I’ve done just about everything that’s available in TiTS for the time being. To the point where my character has like 4500 in game days gone through lol.
Pretty much always down for Kiro content (love me some furry futa mommy’s :3), but taking a patch to introduce the new planet was a good idea imo ^^

How could people hate Kiro and her content? (Or at least be tired of it)
I’ve been looking forward to Bimbo Kiro being 100% complete as it has been a huge ideal to have a “Corrupted Crew” flying around. I hope Bimbo Kiro can get the coding for it complete by the next public patch. The possibilities and interactions I’m dying to see.
Easily: when someone likes mood lighting and comes across a flashing neon sign, that person has to decide to either unplug it, leave it plugged in and ignore when just aren’t in the mood, or go head-in-sand and be stupid about things.
I saw, I didn’t like, and decided to go the ‘unplug’ route. Though what irks me is the surplus content going into Kiro, which to someone like me means some exclusive content unseen due to trying to avoid an ‘ex’.
Thankfully the Developers do release non-Kiro content and I can enjoy this game all the while..; though whenever I go about making a new character save (incompatibility issues, PC dumps my saves, whatever) and I come across that distress call, I am reminded all over again of the very few characters in Tainted Space that unfortunately ended up rubbing me the wrong way…
So is Dhaal a Side-Planet or a Main Quest Planet?
Main quest I’m pretty sure, you find it via a probe so I’m pretty sure that means the next probe should be there somewhere.
I just put it up on the bug report forums, but it looks like when you let Myssah penetrate you, your ass is the hole that stretches, even if you pick vagina.
I see Kiro as the same as Urta: she was neat at first and in small doses, but If I never saw any more content it’d still be too soon. Also they’re both kind of awful people and I don’t get why they’re liked. You can only write so many versions of “Super aggressive, dominant, futanari that’s oh-so-cool” before it gets boring and the last one before that point was Izma.

If anything, I wish there was more Kiro in the Kiro update. I understand the desire to make the recruitment interesting, but I’d rather have more scenes involving Kiro than the however many one-offs with the dolls, VR thing or the bad ends. Just my 2 cents… Excited for a new planet though

There probably will be one eventually. In the game’s world building, Kara works for Lysander Chow, who leads a smuggler gang that rivals the Black Void. Getting one of their agents captured may result in him sending an agent to avenge her.
You can’t get the Broken Psi-Amp from Zaalt’s Distress Call (Ice Queen). It doesn’t do anything right now, unfortunately, but it’s planned to be fixable and have a function when player Psionics is added.
Kara also seems like the kind of character who will show up again later.
If you’re thinking about betraying Kara for the money, remember that money becomes easier to acquire as the game goes on. The Mining Robots on Zheng Shi (the story planet after Myrellion) are a common encounter and have a 50% chance to drop a Savicite Chunk, which is worth 10,000 Credits if sold to Anno. They’re also guaranteed to drop at least one item. Amara gives you 60,000 credits for betraying Kara.
My only problem with this update is the fact that it feals that we are leaving Zheng Shi without really resolving any of the ongoing conflict just like on Myrellion and Tarkus.
Does Steele or rushers in general have any reason or purpose to take it upon themselves and resolve planetary conflicts?
Well obviously not, but then again they didn’t have to retrieve a fugitive to stop a war between space Nestle and Bee People, or Fight in another War between Sabertoothed Snow Leopards and Corgis, or Fight in a War Between Giant Ant People, or Exterminate an infestation of Dead Space like Tentacles, or Stop the Borg Queen from assimilating the Universe with Sexy Cybernetic Implants, or Stop a Nuclear Holocaust, or repopulate and endangered species of Ice Dragons, or fly into a space vagina to rescue a person from an AU, or uplift a species of genderfluid driders, or neutralize several mad scientist hell bent on turning the galactic populace into hyper bimbo sex slaves, or shell out thousands to help a monkey girl transition and restore eye sight to a blind dog girl.
My gripe is that over the years a lot of writers have given all the planets conflicts and presented the ability for Captain Steele to get involved. Doing so in some way increments the planet’s conflict to some kind of resolution and makes the game’s story and world building more investing Leagues above CoC1. Yet for some reason we never comeback to the conflicts and give them any sort of pay off, which to me personally is not good. Then we move on to the next world two years later and completely forget about or those plot points and sometimes have to start changing some of the continuity.

While it would be great to have these side stories more fleshed out and given satisfying conclusions that’s alot of work and not the kind of work most of the community seems interested in sadly. Instead we get a new dickgirl waifu ever couple months to satisfy the sim-daters.

Have you ever noticed that almost nobody ever begs for Crew Expansions for feminine characters that were introduced after Emmy? Like Ara Kei, the Korg’ii Hold Residents, Hana, Haley, Tetra, or even Fisiania and Shade. I mean they do ask to impregnate them but never recruit them.

Is there any Ardia+crew stuff or Arine content in the works? It still irks me that you can hop into bed with a Dzaan super alpha and just fly home like nothing happened.
That tends to happen a lot in this game. 19 Year old Captain Steele seeing some freaky stuff, sticking their cock into it, then letting them put their cock in Steele, then going back to their regularly scheduled programs like nothing happened.
Which is all well and good when you’re doing some wholesome intergalactic bar hopping. Getting reamed by a mommy domme with extremely addictive semen is another matter entirely.
Eh. There are plenty of MILFs, Harem Keepers, and stupidly rich characters that the player can potentially bang besides Arine. Granted she is probably the first to be all three at once and a hermaphrodite. But I believe she was just meant to be a one-off character encounter, and the only way you are going to have further interactions with her is if Savin or some other writer gets commissioned again.
My main point is that she’s an extremely potent Dzaan and having sex with her doesnt even hint at the possibility of becoming addicted to her, Savin seems to have basically said fuck it and threw in two quick repeatable scenes and ignored the species lore entirely I’m assuming out of laziness.
Oh! Well in that case you can just assume that Arine took Dzaan Suppressants before your little fling. Which makes sense since Arine thinks that Captain Steele is going to be Ardia’s first beta. It would be rude to steal them from her daughter. Especially since she already is married to a planet.
