This patch should have came out last night, but instead I spent the evening unraveling mentally, which is always nice. Regardless, I finished up what I was doing with it this afternoon, and here you are. I would have liked to have had a full roster of victory scenes. I really would have. Despite putting out a call to the community writers for assistance rounding out her scene count a while back, I have basically 0 bites. Monetary compensation doesn’t have the same pull as writing your own waifus, I suppose.
0.8.096:
- New oral thirst submission events added to the options at the gabilani chemist. New scenes include Penny (with a dick), bimbo Penny, and the zaika hydra. All written by me, all coded by me, with
somemassive editing help from William. - The gabilani chemist can now be fought. As a result, the option to just walk away from her has been removed. She’s quite a complex fight with a lot of different things going on, so I’m sure there will be bugs. Pointing them out to us (especially on the bug report forum) will help us clean it up faster.
- The gabilani enemies are now encountered in the gabtown area of the Gyre, which is presently identifiable by green squares on the map. (Right now the chemist’s encounter rate is jacked wayyyy up for testing).
- The energy bar for enemies can now be renamed as appropriate. (It is used as ammo for the chemist, and I even updated her energy change display function to better communicate this).
- New threesome event with Syri & Erra can be started by entering Erra’s sex menu where Syri is present. By HugsAlright, coded by me.
- New transformation available for Erra: Huskar. This micro expansion doesn’t add new scenes but does make small tweaks to a lot of her scenes, hopefully with more coming. Also includes the ability to feed her Tittyblossom a few times after. Written by HugsAlright, coded by one minotaur boye.
- New TF: Vernacola, that lets you change your tongue type, sold by Sera and in the Joyco vending machine in Tarkus
- New bust: Sabrae.
- New art pack image: Syri x Erra threesome, by PinkSeito
- Fixed an issue where the Aphro Gas status effect would double print its damage.

What kind of victory scenes were you looking for? For the Zaika-Taur? or for the chemist? Maybe some randos like us could try to write something to help ease the burden if the other main writers are busy.
His rough patch is going political on his twitter and then getting mad when butthurt people are butthurt on forums and shit.
Really enjoyed the threesome scene, although seemed somewhat OOC for Syri to creampie someone seeing as how she has made her stance on that pretty clear, at least with Steele

Well first TiTS 1 needs to be completed. We’ve been on planet five for a few months now so it should take 10 Years and six months minimum assuming that Fenoxo does not decide to add more side planets, decreases the number of planets before we reach tainted space, or gives up on the game due to burnout. Then, Fenoxo or someone else would be able to make Trials in Tainted Space 2.

Out of curiosity do you guys have a shortage of community writers? I’m a moderately experienced writer myself, but I’ve never made any contributions under the assumption that there were more than enough people throwing mountains of text at you.
Submissions are open for everything except new NPCs. There’s a writer’s guide on the forum you can look through to get started!
For clarity, when Savin says New NPCs, he means actually developed characters with complex interactions/personality/potentially lasting impacts. Writing a random character with just one or two sex scenes to show up at a brothel or on Space Tindr is allowed also.

I have a question about penny I did her quest so she doesn’t owe money but when she was on the ship I asked her to go crazy then try to turn her normal she got stuck and now it says she needs to work that they cam girl to pay her debit. But she doesn’t have any debit I don’t receive money.

So is there some special place or scene I have to do to get erra as a huskar? I saved syri on uveto already, and got erra collared, all that, holiday stuff is default. No threesome option shows, no huskar option either.

Vernacola grants the PC the ability to modify their tongue without having to change anything else about themselves. The player can decide what type of tongue they want without any of the RNG.
So you can give yourself a long prehensile tongue with the hollow flag?
Either that or it just allows you to pick a tongue by species. I don’t remember if Zil Tongues have the Prehensile flag, but I believe they do have the long and hollow flag, so there’s that.

Pretty sure Fens already said the cybernetics are gonna be limited to more-or-less the kind of thing already in-game. No robolimbs etc. that being said if you want a taur body there IS the enemy in kiro quest…

Usually there is an image link in the public builds, which usually arrives around the first week of each month (if everything goes according to plan).

Wait, there was monetary compensation offered for writing smut for a character? And nobody bit? Now I’m curious: who was it that NOBODY wanted to contribute to?
Writing Quality Smut for an obscure internet sci-fi rpg/novella game in the second point of view for a specific scenario for an unoriginal character requires tedious and arduous amounts of time, effort, and talent that not everybody realistically is capable of dispensing at the drop of the hat during an apocalypse when they have more important things to worry about for a couple hundred dollars.
The way I interpreted the possible writing commission not being taken up was that besides the massive amount of trouble because of Covid-19 is the following: looking at the game flags that are available, looking at the character that would be expanded, what flags the character have, having an idea to work on, determining if the idea is not conflicting with how the the character is written (however silly mode content can be done for more work), create a framework, and flesh it out. You also have to account for interactions with Captain Steele’s body that players develop and while you could have a relatively generic interaction, there are body parts that can extend scenes by what they do, and actually create specific unique interactions because of the body part. My mind is pondering what more I could add to this post, but writing content requires understanding some game mechanics at the very least, although you could reach out to someone who does know what the painful details to be filled in are and have them add the mechanics/flags to the document. For an idea of the work needed, catching a coding stream is helpful in understanding how adding content is not an easy task. Just my take Syroc and others.
I realize that writing for the game is a whole lot trickier than even normal writing, but honestly I didn’t even know that there was a commission for anything, really. I don’t frequent the forums, and if there was a post on the news page I must have forgotten about it, so I have no idea what it was people didn’t want to write.
This. The people who are willing, experienced and capable enough to do it are all massively in demand and off doing their own thing. I personally would like to earn some easy money here but there’s no way I can right now.
