The shortest and stoutest of the Companions has a new personal quest this week, giving you a new insight into her (now quite ancient) past!
0.7.24 Patch Notes:
- Tui now has her first major quest! Venture into a dream of her past, battle a long dead nightmare, and then discover the impending consequences of her boundless ancestral power! This triggers 2 weeks after recruiting her or after you resolve Lumia’s quest, whichever comes first when you go to sleep in Hawkethorne. The poor girl’s having some nightmares, and they may be more than mundane… (By Gardeford)
- After resolving Atugia’s quest, three certain troublemakers you can encounter during it have some new scenes around the Wayfort if you choose to keep them around.
- Similarly after the quest, Atugia has a new date you can take her on!
- Tweaked Kaly and the Bear’s summons to be a bit better.
- New CG: Ashe reclining in her dream (by Akira)

but yeah, out of all companions, the 2 least interesting is Qui and Atugia, although Atugia is more plot relevent so far
Honestly I would argue the least interesting is Viv, mostly since I keep forgetting she exists.
My second would be Quin, but that’s mostly just because his writer left. Concept wise he’s interesting it’s just sad he probably won’t get more content.

I mean, there’s Viv….who’s only good for the Bewitched quest if you wanna turn her into a demon or for some Black Mage shit…And at least Tui has more than 1 set!
Viv’s main flaw is how criminally underutilized she is in terms of content, but the content she does have is good.
seeing some tui hate but outside of the lack of story content ive always liked her as a character so looking forward to when i can play this quest

Well, I already like it. Atugia was (either I’m stupid and doing something wrong, or she can’t cope with the last battles) my favorite companion and it was sad that there was so little content with her, especially in comparison with other companions.
Yeah, it’s nice to see the little redhead get some love.
The berserker set for her is pretty great. Without that though, if you’re not playing black mage you don’t really need a dedicated tank.
It’s precisely for the Black Mage that I play… And in the last battles, Atugia with both sets showed herself significantly worse than Brinny with similar sets. The second companion is always Witch Cait.
P.S. your comment reminded me of those updates when the Black Mages were nerfed… Now I want to start playing as the White Mage.

They’re mentioned as working in the Tavern alongside Rumie and Talulah. “Two of the satyrs you conscripted are helping Rumie run the bar”.
It’s great to see Atugia get more love. Not to mention more content with Ashe.
That said, I just noticed something odd while traversing the Windy Peaks. There was a birth scene for Vasha, and instead of stopping movement and making you press [Next] to get past the scene, you can walk right into and out of Vasha’s scene and miss it entirely if you’re traveling in a hurry. I had to load a recent autosave to see the scene. Just wanted to throw that out there.

Note for Satyr seekers:
1 is in the place the Caravan shows up at if you upgrade the Wayfort, the other two should both be in the bar with the Bee Girl and the “Dude” harpy.

Nice to see Tui getting some love. Out of curiosity, will there be more content with her like the other girls such as pregnancy options or making her a bedmate, things like that? Or even a marriage option?
Tui can already be made to join you in bed in the Frosthound, it’s just she can’t be set to do it automatically like Ryn.
Happy to see more Atugia content. Bit disappointing these notes don’t mention any scenes where we actually make use of her curse though.
I’m still stunned there are no 1 on 1 scenes involving detaching her head to use it or force her to watch her body. It felt so, so obvious
Atugia has always been the companion I felt had the most Potential™ so I’m always glad to see more with her. Hopefully we get more use of her unique anatomy here and going forward, because the possibilities there are extremely rich.
