So I have to ask, what is the rationale, from a game design perspective, behind the rather high chance of doing nothing that a good portion of the transformatives in this game have? I don’t mean to sound overly critical, but making items, some of which can cost over 15,000 credits per dose, fail anywhere from a tenth to a third of the time (I’m looking at you in particular, Tittyblossom!) seems to only serve the purpose of pushing people to save-scum. It’s not a risk-reward mechanism, it’s just a random, unlucky waste of the quarter-hour or so of gameplay it takes to amass those funds, assuming you’re not abusing the male milker.
It’s not a huge deal, but a frustration with no real purpose.

It’s to emphasize the difference in quality between the different corporations. For example, Xenogen has a high emphasis on quality, so their TFs will never be duds, while Joyco is a company that focuses on mass-producing things, leading to a corresponding drop in quality.

I don’t think anything should have a high failure rate unless you’ve almost gotten every possible effect from the item. At that point, it serves as a money sink.

Does Omega Oil cause anything permanent? I noticed that the description says “MAY” have permanent effects but I used a whole bunch at the same time and it only seems to increase the time of the fuck fever.
I think it could increase anal lubrication, if I remember correctly.
In terms of permanent changes, O.Oil should have a chance of increasing anal lubrication, capacity and elasticity, but that’s all.
Since the gym has no cap on number of stats given, no day limit, and you can pay a small one time fee for the gym making decreasing returns while realistic just isn’t a fun mechanic. It doesn’t really punish the player by making them choose between autisticly saving stat points, or having more time to pursue their father’s legacy considering you can do both. I understand the reasoning, but it doesn’t stop me from abusing the gym and Syri so that I can just stock up on stats like a crazy person. Are there plans to implement something that makes that more true or is the idea just to make getting stats from the gym a time consuming punishment?
I am not a backer but i do wish to give a suggestion (not sure if this is the right place). My suggestion is for there to be a parasitic lapinara that can join your crew or one that has taken a drug akin to throb. I do know that this idea will likely (sadly) not be implemented but I appreciate that my idea will have been heard.
