These might not be as… outward-facing as some of you hoped for, though I assure you that we have a good reason for that: full robot limbs and the like would be difficult if not impossible to account for in long-form intimacy scenes that already struggle to adapt to the player character’s very… very varied appearance. That doesn’t mean that all these implants are boring. Some of them are quite fun mechanically while others may come in handy for those with a more sexual bent. Check out Sabrae’s shop and make your own decisions.

0.8.085 Changelog:
- Sabrae’s Implantation Station is now open!. You can find it alllll the way down in the southwestern corner of Dhaal’s Gyre region. Written by Wsan and coded by yours truly.
- Implant slots are unlocked via the diagnostic options in her shop. Currently there are two implant slots: combat and utility. Combat implants directly effect your ability to succeed in combat while utility implants tend to be more vanity or post-combat recovery oriented.
- I’m aware there is currently no option to get an implant slot “emptied” out and uninstalled. I will get to that next patch.
- Sabrae comes with two sex scenes for those into that.
- New items: Breed ‘n Brute, Ecstasy Enlargers, Lactation Inducers, Muscular Stabilization System, Prostitute Pro, Reflex Tuner, Sensory Dampener, Steroidal Muscle Augment, Cybernetic Subprocessor, & the
SynthWomb (which despite its name interacts with all pregnancies). (Apparently the Synthwomb is bugged and unable to be obtained – Next patch!) - WARNING: Many of these (especially Ecstasy Enlargers) dip their fingers deep into the creature object, so it’s possible that one or two may wind up having bugs that can permanently bork your save (unless you know how to edit individual save values), so I recommend archiving a save-to-file of your PC before saving with these installed.
- A few bug fixes courtesy of Gena138.
Oh come on, really?
No cybernetic limbs?
So that means no plans for a cybernetic cock/cunttail?
Do you want to write scenes for using them 20x over? I added parasitic vagina-tails to the game and it’s a struggle to get any other authors to even make mention of them, let alone include a scene. I’m basically finding myself in the situation where I feel like I need to write them for everyone else’s Dhaal NPCs because they’d definitely make use of them.
Couldn’t you just make it a rule that Dhaal NPC’s written by other authors have to have content written for their tails before they can be considered for implementation into the game?
Sounds like a great way to make sure nobody writes for my game. Writing for TiTS is already a big ask with all the variances and parsers. The more you pile on top, the fewer people will be interested in participating.
eh personally im just gonna pretend i got robo arms for my character and save yall the hassle of complaining about not having them/having to rewrite an assload of stuff. im just glad y’all put this stuff in at all.
Thanks, and I hope you enjoy!
I agree. It does make writing difficult as asking authors to account for all the different character variables in the game just for ONE SCENE is a huge undertaking. This isn’t even counting for specific content.
I believe that’s why we’re lacking content in other places. Hopefully that can change or be more manageable so you don’t feel like all the workload falls on you to make that content happen.
I have no clue if this if doable since I don’t know anything about game coding, but… Would it be possible to just get a “fake” cyber-dong? Like have it just count as some kind of skin-type flag, where instead of saying “your horse-cock” it’d say something like “your chrome-cock” or whatever? That way while not being as detailed as a full-on robo-dong could be, it would at least not throw people out of their head space if they want that look?
Not sure how easy it would be to just have cybernetic *insertbodyparthere* flags overwrite all the regular *insertbodyparthere* flags.
So for example a 100% canine character with cybernetic arms would work normally aside from arm description flags being overridden as cybernetic. Purely a visual thing that would be automatically done when the arm descriptor flag is asked for.
Obviously both arms or legs must be changed into cybernetic at the same time, no one normal arm one cybernetic arm. And they would work the same as regular arms/legs, no dildo drill attachments for arms. ;P
Just an idea, personally not too fussed about cybernetics, as the game is more built around genetic manipulation.
Honestly, I’m basically just looking for a way to have access to the related scenes without every second NPC going “OH NO!!!! PARASITES!!!”
I thought maybe give some explanation about how they were modeled after the actual parasites with some rudimentary AI to emulate its behavior. Then there’s no need to modify any of the scenes.
Though maybe that’s asking too much?
I think you can use the save editor to remove the parasite tag.
I know, That’s what I’m doing currently.
However, the Tailcock/Tailcunt flags which are what NPCs react to are also what gives access to the scenes.
This means I have to constantly remove and reapply those flags.
Damn saw Kelly and got really excited. Oh well still excited for this other stuff, but I’m gonna wait for the option to uninstall too. Wanna play around with these a lot. Thanks
Where do we get the the SynthWomb? It does not look like you can buy it from Sabrae.
Shoot, looks like there was a slipup with her inventory. Next patch!
Will we ever see stuff for cyber-augs (like the cybernetic stuff the NPC’s have,( cybernetic limbs or replacment parts? Would be kinda cool to be able to have a cybernetic arm or something. Also would make for a more ‘reliable’ transformation (beyond save-scuming).
Did you not read the post?
CHROME FOR STEELE 😀
I don’t know if its just me, but the SynthWomb isn’t showing up, wondering if there is a prerequisite to unlock it, or if its a bug
Shoot, that is a bug. I’ll adjust the patch notes accordingly.
I’d settle for some of the implants being compatible with with the Android. Specifically, the synth-womb caught my attention, but as a free user, I am not sure of its function beyond the name.
No one agrees? Might just be my opinion, but I feel like Bess/Ben had a lot of potential as a true central character to the narrative. A way to spread Steele’s influence into a political direction by tackling AI rights as a narrative challenge rather than just another thing to fight or fuck into submission.
I do agree, actually. There was also at one point the option of pregging Briget, as I’ve seen art of her in that state. Could be a way to finally make it happen for those who want it.
I don’t see the synth womb in the store. Is there a hidden requirement?
As a point of curiosity, what’s the design philosophy regarding implants moving forward? Will combat balance assume the presence of a combat implant, or will there perhaps be a tradeoff that keeps non-implanted characters competitive?
i cant seem to get the lactation inducers to work. they arent making me lactate at all.
They worked on my test character, but they might be a bit slow. It takes a solid 10-20 fluid “injections” to get to the point where you can start lactating.
That kelly picture is awesome
It’s ok Fen. We know you tried. This shit is hard. And unless you guys wanted him to be working just on cybernetics and updates to sex scenes for the next three months without other content, this might have been the best option for the moment.
Honestly, I like the idea of just implants. It doesn’t make that much sense to have cybernetic limbs when Steele is already effectively a nanoborg.
Would it be possible to work cybernetic body parts like racial stuff? I think i remember the cuntsnake tail force failing certain tail TFs, so there seems to be at least some groundwork for that kind of thing. The galomax pills are irreversible to a point so there’s that too. Since a good amount of race stuff is cosmetic and doesn’t get too much mention i’d think this could be pretty similar in how much it gets referenced in scenes it’s not relevant.
I also know very little about code, so this is a lot of assumptions on my part. Just kind of spit-balling. And hey, even though it’s not everything i’d hoped for this is still something i can be happy with.
No cybernetics? The Omnissiah demands cyberdongs. And toasters.
From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me.
I craved the strength and certainty of steel.
Praise be to the Omnissiah. Gifted be the Machine Spirits. May we be guided.
“No cybernetic limbs because it’s too hard (even though I wrote, coded and implemented an entirely new racial transformation not a month ago)”
Oh, and instead of being the slightest bit interesting they’re just going to be generic upgrade slots.
What an incredibly low-effort implementation. You might as well not have bothered, honestly.
Apples to oranges, buddy.
One thing my be getting access to them earlier, at least the utility ones. After undergoing Treatment and using other TF items and their effects, they dont work as I already surpased the augments TF limits.. I would almost see these as character creation options for hard mode or something. Having both breast implants on at the start and trying to avoid becoming stuck might be an idea.
Because your code doesn’t support it? Because you’re just averse to including anything that’s at all interesting mechanically? It doesn’t seem like a purely descriptive note that you have a cybernetic (whatever) as opposed to an entirely organic one would be that hard to account for when you compare it to racial transformations, full body transformations, and extra limbs, all of which are in the game already.
Damn that’s a lot of salt for a new thing not meeting the expectations you held of a system that no actual promises were made about. cool down and try to think of ways it can be expanded/improved instead of bitching about it.
I’m expressing disdain, not annoyance. But yeah, you’re right, we should all just accept the laziest possible implementation instead of hoping for something that’s actually worthwhile or interesting.
“Cool down and try to think of ways it can be expanded/improved”
What do you think I’m doing? Why do you think I’m trying to get more detail? Have you by any chance noticed all the other people offering suggestions and how not one of them has been addressed, and no detail given beyond “guys just trust me it’s too hard!”
Starting by bitching is a poor way to get people to listen to you and the questions you asked carry the same tone. But yes, i noticed the other people offering suggestions, and you might notice i’m one of them. Did i get a response? No. Am i salty about it not getting a response? Also no. Fen told us why there aren’t full limbs in the post and in the first few comments, so i made a guess as to how they might be coded right now. Things could change in the future if cybernetics get tackled again, but for now we don’t know what has more priority.
In that case, I apologise for not phrasing my disappointment politely enough. I’m not angry with the lack of answers; that was entirely expected. That doesn’t mean the question shouldn’t be asked.
The stated reason for there not being full limbs – or at least visible augmentation – is a joke. They’d be too difficult to account for in scenes? Come on, having a cyborg arm instead of a meat one doesn’t mean you have to rewrite the entire scene around it, you only have to rewrite the relevant parts. Swapping a few adjectives around isn’t hard.
I wasn’t being malicious when I said they might as well have not bothered; a good idea implemented poorly just isn’t worthwhile.
Cybernetic replacement limbs were never at any point part of the designs for the system. We (read: I, since I did the first treatment of it) didn’t want players hacking off organic limbs for chrome. It would basically create another Galomax situation of “well now I’m unable to use any TFs again ever” but instead of just being able to reroute fluids around to reshape yourself we’d have to create 999 new cybernetic parts and bloat the game’s item list even more.
That said, don’t be a dick.
Thanks for the more detailed response, I appreciate it.
That’s a shame, it could’ve been an interesting opportunity for divergent character development for people who were without transformations/within acceptable levels/whatever, or were just willing to give up the prospect of future transformations. It’s not like the decision would be irrevocable, considering the player has several opportunities already to help others with regrown biological limbs; choose to get chromed up now and the next planet has a cool TF you want to use? Too bad, pay for the cost of regrowing your flesh or go without. But I digress.
As much as I would’ve appreciated the effort even I think nine hundred different upgrades might have been pushing it. What about a starter option (or starter + upgrade) for each slot, plus one for every new planet/ability plateau? Doesn’t sound that much to me, I mean, presumably you’re going to be including new weapons and such so we’re not stuck with what we’ve got forever.
Regardless, I still don’t see a reason we can’t have chrome – even implants – that are taken into account in our appearance. What’s the point of including something like this if you’re not going to take advantage of it?
I’m tryin’, man. I’m tryin’ real hard.
We are taking advantage of it in the way we want to — unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the way YOU want to, which is unfortunate, but there’s no intent of changing the design at this point.
“We are taking advantage of it in the way we want to”
Exactly the issue. Next time you have to design something try and make it at least halfway interesting, goodness knows there are enough systems out there you could copy if you’re incapable of coming up with good ideas by yourselves.
Or just, you know, find a better designer.
Could it be possible to gain the Cybernetic Synchronization perk as a service or something from Sabrae instead of consuming Goblinola bars?
This Sabrae seems kind of fun, lets talk to her aaaaaand I want to recruit her. Dang it.
Also, I’m glad we have cybernetics at all, and I thank you for adding them. Don’t let the idiots get you down.
The Prostitute Pro doesn’t seem to be working – my energy still goes down by 5 after each scene, despite getting the notification that the fluids were converted into energy. Not sure if the pregnancy chance is affected properly.
Loving the content, I can tell you put some work into this, a big question of mine is where are you going with all of this, Dhaal and the cybernetics. I’m not saying get on with the main story cause I never do the main mission until last
The way I see it, except for the glaring issue of having to re-write a lot more scenes for the characters for more support, the move to html5 is probably the best time to clean up the code and build a more structured logic system for the scenes with minimal fixes to the dialogue scripts. So while there may never be enough scenes to please everyone, they probably will be able to at least better support any future scene logic with a redo of the current logic. This is not meant to be a criticism of the game as it is, but more of a “where can it be improved for future-proofing” kind of armchair thinking.
How long does it normally take for content to go from written to implemented in game? Wondering when some of B’s work will be implemented.
Any chance for male-oriented utility implants?
Yeah. There’s a ton of potential.
Yay! Looking forward to them! I’ll just HAVE to deal with growing, leaky tits in the meantime.
Sabrae is just pure cutenes <3 Let us take her to our ship, Fen, pleeeeease ^_^
The breast implants only apply to the top pair. For instance a character with two rows only sees expansion in the first. Should characters implant twice?
