We’re starting out with a small patch containing all the things I wrote this afternoon, then after I get back from the gym, I’ll hopefully push out an update with another starting race Savin has been begging for for a while. <3
CoC2 also got a new patch yesterday.
0.8.005 Changelog:
- Synphia got an appearance screen.
- Synphia has five new talk topics to flesh out her lore and even a bit of SteeleTech’s.

- Half-Suulas have been added to the game as a starter race. Note that half-suulas do not have wings and take after their human sire in the genitalia department (aside from coloration).
I swear, if the new starting race is Huskar… Savin needs to see somebody about his doggirl obession.
It might also be his cowgirl fetish. I believe he has that one, too. Although I would like to point out that Huskar isn’t a separate race, it’s a variation of Ausar, specifically an Arctic-adapted one.
Damn, didn’t think of this until I was pushing post, but it COULD be his ‘mander fetish. I personally hope that this is the case. I’d love to have a space version of Helia.

Right. WTF. Crew capacity is reduced by adding weapons to hardpoints? How brain damaged it that. Wha’s the point of making new ships if you can’t use them if you dare have either a crew, or weapons. Point. Less.
Use “Turret” class weapons with crew. They hit twice as hard as normal weapons but only take one slot.
Optimal damage for most ships is actually crew + a turret in each hardpoint.
*looks at weapon energy consumption for even the turrets with the lowest power draw requiring you to forego anything other then power core tuner, and even then….*
Use the “clowncar” cheat to keep all your crew.
That why you can fly whatever ship with whatever setup without having to worry about crew size.
I too think it’s weird that adding weapons to hardpoints counts against a ship’s module count.
I set up the MS-XI’s 9 module slots with 6 Advanced Crew Quarters (giving me a total of 12 crew, enough to carry pretty much everyone currently available that takes up a crew slot), 1 Power Core Tuner, 1 Hardened Systems, and 1 more Missile Turret.
With the Clydesdale’s bonus 2 crew slots, you could achieve the same result with only 5 Adv Crew Quarters, leaving you 12-8=4 free module slots to play around with… which isn’t nearly enough to make up for it having basically half of the MS-XI’s stats across every category but hull and cargo space.
The Sledgehammer is too limited in module and cargo space for a trophy and waifu hoarder like me :p
Ships with a lot of hardpoints can be modified to have advanced crew quarters (which count as two slots, thus not decreasing crew count) plus turrets for huge amounts of damage. Plus you can have Shekka for repairs and other crew bonuses. I managed a crew of 9 with full turrets on a Sledgehammer, so it’s definitely doable.
aside from the issue of turret power draw being a nightmare compared to how much the ships generate per turn, turrets are kinda pointless when you have them disabled b/c of power issues you had to take on to keep all your crew onboard
Settle down there, cowboy. There are different types of ships on Tavros, Tarkus and Myrellion and can be easily configured to support crew and weapon systems if you just take a moment to take a look at all the upgrade options available.
Can you please update the Image Pack as Synphia is still bugged in the current one and I don’t think the new Adjatha busts are fixed in it either.
That ship has sailed (for the public one), but a backer image pack release is probable before long.

Hey Fen, the wiki doesn’t say, so I’m asking you about it, but is the motherhusk’s pregnancy speed boost permanent, or temporary like the small blue egg?
permanent, it acts like a weaker version of the laquine ears preg boost, (motherhusk has 7x max laquine ears 10x) however if you use the laquine ears and already have the 10x boost motherhusk does nothing…. Unless you mean while pregnant all those stats are for not when pregnant, if you are already pregnant it only affects the current pregnancy, so it’s temporary

I feel like Luke, when he finds out that Darth Vader is his father (That’s not true! That’s impossible!) I didn’t have high expectations for it, after they rotated the usual designers off it (because, ya know, Anthem needed help) but this is very disappointing. Inquisition wasn’t great, but I at least had fun with it, and I had heard some cool plans for 4 (smaller than Inquisition, but with a focus on making decisions with consequences). That said, they got rid of the French voice actress they’d used for Leliana in Origins – instant 0/10 once the new one opened her mouth.
Plus, I probably wouldn’t be as excited for new Syri content if we got it all the time, although I certainly wouldn’t complain. It’s like fluffy Christmas.
For those that have been trying out the new Kiona content, a fix was put into this patch to give credit for saves that already completed the Wargii quest before she was added.

Since they’re hermaphrodites, will getting pregnant from a slyveren make it into the game? I’ve read one fiction story where it was mentioned.. and i thought “nice way to get pregnant”
Fen, I would have to say that after playing with it for while, the weapon system doesn’t make alot of sense. Slapping say, a laser onto a hardpoint *should’t* take up much internal space. We have access to small ships and low level weapons. Its INCREDIBLY unlikely that such a weapon would need a room/quarters sized capacitor, not to mention it draws from a single shared energy resource meaning it would just be pulling from the ships pre-installed capacitor bank.
With weapons that fire physical munitions would need a magazine, however some ships come with such weapons already, from that it would make sense there would already be a magazine. Beyond that it would be reasonable to assume such ammo could be stored in the cargo hold.
TLDR: Mounting weapons on hardpoints should not take up quarters space because hardpoints are dedicated already.
One more thing, being able to mount weapons on all hardpoints would kind of be unbalanced. Perhaps X amount of hardpoints wouldn’t count twords module/quarters usage? Well more than already.

You will never get 4 arms.
The amount of recording that would need to be done to support 4 arms is almost a rework of a foundation. It would break so many things just to even implement and then several writers would need to add support or refuse support for that. It’s honestly not worth the effort to add them to the game.
